Shelter 2008 (english) - gay interest

When his college dreams are sidelined by family obligations, a young man finds comfort in surfing with his best friend's brother. Forced to give up his dreams of art school, Zach spends his days working a dead-end job and helping his needy sister care for her son. In his free time he surfs, draws and hangs out with his best friend, Gabe, who lives on the wealthy side of town. When Gabe's older brother, Shaun, returns home, he is drawn to Zach's selflessness and talent. Zach falls in love with Shaun while struggling to reconcile his own desires with the needs of his family.

Awesome movie! File is adequate, sufficient for portable device like Iphone or Ipod, but looks very block-y and slightly distracting on AppleTV.
I second pixnet's comments that everyone should purchase these quality movies on DVD, once they are released. Gay cinema is no longer cheesey, but actually very well-represented here. No queens in tiaras here, just men outside of the stereotypes we often see portrayed in most gay films.

I saw this film with some of my buddies, and trust me they made a big fuss about me making them see a fag-film. After the movie it wan't like that anymore, becouse this is not a film about fags, it's a good story with characters you like and when it's over you have a good feeling inside and a silly grin on your face.
I actually felt guilty for downloading it for free, and for the first time in quite a while I actually wanted to pay the crew who made this movie, so I bought it. Now I feel twice as good and my silly grin is still here.
