Well, personally, ST:V didn't actually SUCK. It wasn't great, but it did have some interesting bits. I especially liked seeing Uhura do the fan dance on the sand dune. Really sexy!
My only beef was that Sean Connery turned down the role! It would have been great to hear him say "Share your pain!"
