This works perfect I installed Microsoft office pro 2010 and worked for awhile then needed an activation key. Somehow I am not able to find the mini kms activator.exe file. So I dont know how to install it. I admit, I am quite dumb at these thigs so will somebody please help! I see only three files. 1. Office 2010 Pro, US Version, BTW. Forgot to mention that. For you people that are getting it removed by antivirus, you have to disable your antivirus software prior to use. It's not actually a virus. In some cases, you have to uninstall your AV software.

This is really cool! Thanks a zillion dude...I found that everytime i reinstall my OS and install office 2010 using this, it always starts with 180 days grace which means i need to re-install my laptop every 6 months...its still ok for me since reinstallation doesnt take much time....So in that sense its cool...but I would also like to know if anyone out there knows if there is a better way to extend the 180 days grace time without re-installation of OS?? Or is there a permanent KMS activator?

I am having trouble activating office 2010 with the KMS activator. I keep getting the error code 0xC004F056 and the message: The software licensing service reported that the computer could not be activated using the key management system.
I tried uninstalling AVG and disabling SUPERantispyware to see if it would help but it didn't.
How can I install and "activate" my office 2010?

Ok, the only way I got this to work, was to DISABLE my NOD32 antivirus.
When NOD32 was running, the KMS Activator would not work. But as soon as I disabled NOD32, and tried the KMS Activator again, it really did work.
180 days for me!

For AVG Anti-virus, you have to go into:
Tools > Advanced Settings > Temporarily Disable AVG Network.
That's the only way it'll allow you to install the KMS, otherwise it will say error.

The 2nd McAfee warning deleted the trojan that makes this work- but I had to disable McAfee and try the entire process again. This allowed the .exe to work correctly and the kms to install. But at a price! After restart, the mouse stopped working, checked device manager and EVERY SINGLE usb and network adapter was no longer working. No internet access to update drivers and even the Gigabyte CD couldn't fix the network drivers... BEWARE.
Please other users confirm if you get this problem. I am using Windows 7 x64.

KMS activators show up as a Trojan Hacktool.Backdoor on most anti-virus solutions. (AVG, MalwareBytes, and Norton for sure.)
It's a false positive of course. Good anti-virus programs almost always pick up crack programs as a virus because the coding is very similar. You've nothing to worry about; however, if you're still sketchy, don't download the program. The KMService.exe will go away whenever you uninstall the KMS program.
There's a reason DibyaTPB has a green skull and his torrent has 1000+ seeders. If you don't trust it, don't download.

It works.
Steps:
1) Remove any old versions of Microsoft Office
2) Download mini-KMS_Activator_v1.053.exe (contained in this download)
4) Run mini-KMS_Activator_v1.053.exe and validate
5) Re-run the activator after 180 days (you can do this every 180 days with no limits)
6) Sit back and enjoy the fact that Microsoft is slightly less rich for you not giving them money for their shitty software

The activator does work. Be warned though it does jack up your registry. Took me 2 1/2 hours to fix the problems it caused. That's the nature of the beast. Keep in mind you now have a 400 dollar office suite for free. Well worth the time. Great upload DibyaTPB. Thanks a bunch.

Sorry to sound like a noob but I'm having a huge problem that a few other people on here have also had, with no solution that I've read.
I installed the Office Professional 2010 from TBP, I download this torrent however I can't run the file! I run the file and nothing happens. I have downloaded a few other torrents that supposedly have the same file and the same thing...nothing runs, no popup, nothing.....I have turned off AVAST and also shut off my windows firewall and same thing.

For those of you who are getting the copying files error, UNINSTALL YOUR ANTI-VIRUS. Some A-V still block the activator from working even when you close them out. Especially AVG. Should work like a charm if you uninstall it

I was having the same issue, apparently it stems from starting off the process with bunk key and trying to jump right into the KMS activator. I think a major issue comes from lack of description on what the buttons themselves do, so I'll run that down quickly then address the fix to the 30 day issue.

This button will take you to a menu that will let you delete active keys for each Office product. If you find yourself in the situation you need to delete keys do so according to what package you installed. i.e. If you just installed Word, delete the Word key. However if you installed the Office suite, delete the Office key. Don't go line by line deleting Word, Excel, etc.
"Rearm Office 2010"
When your 180 days are up, or if at any point you want to go back to a fresh 180 day trial, this is the button you'll need to click. Think of it as a reset button. If at any point you want to get back to 180 trial, you'd click this first, then the "Activation Office 2010 VL" button.

Now based on the above explanation if you're only getting the 30 day activation you should know what to do. However if you're still somewhat of a n00b and or you're high, I'll spell it out for you ;) You're only getting the 30 day activation because your original keys suck. You need to click the "Key Manager Office 2010 VL" button to delete your bunk key. I for example had the "Professional Plus 2010" suite installed, so I just selected that option and the keys were deleted. Then you chose the "Rearm Office 2010" button to reset everything, and lastly select the "Activation Office 2010 VL" button to implement your 180 trial. To verify that all worked, click the "Activation Check Office 2010" button and if it says 180 days, congrats. If it still say 30 days, you fail at following instructions. Re-read this information from the beginning.
I hope this clears up some confusion.

Correct installation/activation sequence:
1. Key Manager Office 2010 VL => uninstall old key
2. Install/Uninstall KM Service

(check...every Office programs is now activated! no more red bar on top nagging you for activation)

Don’t use KMS Activation firstly you don’t know if its installing Trojans or other viruses onto your system and secondly it only activates it for 180 days. Activate it permanently with a serial and by ringing Microsoft and getting the conformation ID, that way you know you are safe and secure and also you know it is permanently activated.
01. start Word.
02. If the activation window appears close it.
03. Go to menu File, Help, Change Product Code, and then enter key:
828CH-G4FPY-HMH4R-32GCK-6D9BH or 3W3MQ-H7M6X-3WYP7-TPCH6-8G8T2
04. Untick the "Activate over internet" box at the bottom, and click "Next".
05. In the window that appears click "Install".
06. When finished the Install process, close word an then reopen Word.
07. An activation window will appear (if not, go to menu File, Help, Activate).
08. Select the "Phone Activation" option, and click "Next".
09. Pick your country, then ring the number and follow the instructions.
10. When asked for your ID, input the code given in the Word activation window.
11. When asked which edition, choose business/volume use, used only on 1 pc.
12. A code will be given back, and enter the code into the activation box.
13. Click "Next", and Office will say that it's permanently activated.
14. Close Word (and any other Office 2010 application).
15. Restart Word, and go to Help to check the subscription status.
Office 2010 is now fully and permanently activated.
