This is working perfectly for me, but unlike everyone else I use every feature that comes with Premiere. There are several professionals features that don't work right, but the main one that crashes the program is whenever I try to speed up or slow down a clip. It makes it freeze and I have to completely re-install. That's my only complaint, everything else is flawless (like everything else you upload).

i'm having problems. i've downloaded adobe premiere cs4. adobe premiere pro, in particular, closes the moment i open it. i've tried everything except executing a clean install from the CLEAN INSTALL folder. The instructions emphasize the importance of deactivating the app by going to HELP and clicking DEACTIVATE. Help needed: none of the editing tools (ripple edit, razor, etc) work in the version I downloaded. When I select, say, the ripple edit tool and position it in the Timeline to do an edit, the tool has a red diagonal line through it and doesn't work. Same with other editing tools. Keyboard shortcuts (Shift-Delete for ripple edit tool) don't work either.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what's the solution. Product is of no use without ability to edit!

Doesn't work after a month. You can replace the amtlib.dll, do the hosts file stuff, but after a month it will say that the trial has expired and requests a serial. None of the provided serials work.
Afterwards you can continue using it, but your Sequence Presets will be *severely limited* to a few things like DVCAM and HDDVCAM. No more options for normal formats like DSLR 1080p or 720p. Apparently this is a bug with the actual version, with the program reverting to Demo functionality.
This torrent won't work 100% after a month.

You can easily create a new timeline based on a the video file's settings with the create new icon at the base of the import window, just drag the video onto the icon. close the preset window if it doesn't have presets, now make a timeline based on your file EASY , accomplishes the SAME THING. Learn how to use this program before you call the torrent useless. its not his fault your are ignorant, torrent is good.
There are programs out there that don't hold your hand like premiere, meaning they dont even have presets, you make your own!, what are you going to do then? never edit again? lol

shamazam exactly why I am hesitating to install this. Look at the size - 1.46GB! Wtf did they put in 1.46GB? I am all ears for any good alternatives that you may know about. I tried some free ones, and Wax seems to be atleast able to import the video file where Lightworks couldn't import any damn thing short of individual jpegs, but Wax doesn't play sound in preview mode.

To fix the missing presets, such as AVCHD for .MTS videos, you've to install the "full" software with a serial, because the trial version of Premiere only install a few of them (because Adobe stupidly considers that a demo should have less features). So, if you install the trial and later you crack the program or use the .DLL file, you will only stay with an"inifite trial" without the presets. Try searching for a working serial before install Premiere, is the only way to get all functions. That works for me.

For everyone having trouble installing. The program you are supposed to launch to install Adobe Premier is designed to detect when someone copies and pastes their serial key. Therefpre, if you are having trouble at that stage or if your program only comes up as a trial, Manually type in the serial key and it should work. hope this helps :)

forp247: Whenever you are editing system files or installing a crack, keep the original file as a backup. Before editing anything, I always make a copy of the file and edit that. Never edit your source file, and always keep a backup!

I just downloaded this Premiere Pro on both 64 bit and 32 bit. It worked on 64 but on 32 it says the bit does support the requirements. Do you have a Premiere Pro torrent that works on 32 bit?

I downloaded this torrent and am trying to go through the steps needed to install it, now I'm stuck on editing the hosts file because it doesn't say anywhere what I'm actually meant to do with it. @Queerio: lmfao, bro all you have to do is add the text from the new host file you just downloaded, and add the current (preexisting) host file's text to the bottom of the original host file. Of course if this is your first time editing your host file, these simple steps should be more than enough:
[] Open the new host file with notepad.
[] copy the preexisting host file to your Desktop and label it "hostsbackup".
[] paste the text from the new hosts file (opened in notepad) to the bottom of the old hosts file (also opened in a seperate instance of notepad).
[] Close out of everything except the newly modified host file (the one you just created by combining the two).
[] Save your newly modified hosts file to your Desktop using these exact directions in order to get the file-type correct:
>> Save the file as "hosts", "hosts.hostfile", or "hosts.7save" depending on the operating system you're using, name it exactly what the original host file was named while in it's original folder, including the file extension).
>>'Save As' using the "Save as Type:" [All Files] option, rather than the default [Text Documents (*.txt)] option.
[] Save to Desktop (save exactly as explained above).
[] 'Right-Click, Drag & Drop' your newly created hosts file into the original hosts file (the (etc) folder on your C drive).
[] Click the [Copy] option, copying the newly created hosts file to the original host file location, make sure to 'overwrite' or 'replace' when prompted, that way your new file overwrites the old file in the 'etc' folder.
[] You now have your new hosts file in it's proper place and a backup file on your Desktop, so you can replace the modified hosts file with the original backup if there are any problems with the new one.
[] If you ever need to replace your new hosts file with the original backup, all you need to do is open the "hostsbackup" file in notepad, save it the same way you did in the steps above, and there ya have it!
