Programmet lägger till 21 kända ip uppslag för TPB i din hosts-fil. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_fileDin dator kommer sen förlita sig på information i hosts när den tex eftersöker domänen thepiratebay.se istället för att göra en namnuppslagning hos din ISP. (Din isp kan ju om de vill peka dig mot en helt annan server än TPB's riktiga, tex en Denied sida)
