Eth1c is correct the second 10 or more players join the server no longer functions properly. It has nothing to do with duplicate clients.

I used my own .ini file cuz this idiot left canada settings in it. There is about 27 channels in it as well. Check your server status here but be sure to forward your port!!! Default is 3784

I use this for Minecraft and WoW. I configured channels around and made it my home sort of, and it rocks. I've had around 20 users at the same time, the user count is indeed over 8. I recommend for those of you hosting from your home to make sure ports are forwarded, and use low quality speex and your ping and other peoples ping will be fine. I have had very little problems with this asides from the learning curve to the user editor.

Hi, This ventrilo version is great but i have one problem, it all works fine untill 10 people join, then it freezes and I cant do shit about it, cant hear anyone or cant talk. Just has to reboot.

Crack isn't working anymore. (After 10 people it doesn't work at all, tested with 3.0.8 x64 client)

Same problem others have had. When I tried to get a group of 20 people into my server, it just stopped working. It froze on the client side and nobody could speak. I could still disconnect and reconnect and the server log window was still showing connections coming in but we couldn't do anything at all.
This happened twice with a completely different group of people. The computer is powerful enough and has more than enough bandwidth to handle hundreds of people but it just ceases after a certain number of people.
My Mumble server on the same computer works fine. Does anyone have a working cracked Vent server?
