Title:
Final Fantasy IX (PSX) fully converted to PSP format
Category:
Games/Other
Uploaded:
2008-01-15 (by beanbaggins)
Description:
Final Fantasy IX (PSX) fully converted to PSP format. This will only work on PSP's with custom firmware.
This has been fully tested on Firmware 3.71 M33 and 3.40 OE and works perfect. It should work on older
custom firmware as well, but I have not personally tested it.
Instructions:
1. Unrar images (EBOOT.PBP)
2. Copy EBOOT.PBP to :\PSP\GAME If it isn't there, create the directory on your own.
(You may put it in a subfolder if you'd like. e.g :\PSP\GAME\FF9)
3. Copy KEYS.BIN into the same folder that you put EBOOT.PBP in.
(I've had it work without this file, but you will probably need it. It's not included. Try Google)
3. Boot your PSP and go to the "Game" folder and choose "Memory Stick"
4. (Optional) If you would like to view the instruction manual in-came, copy DOCUMENT.DAT
to the same folder mentioned above. Press the "HOME" button to access it.
5. (Not optional) Rock out!
Notes:
Keep the same save file when you change disks. The GameID is already setup.

If I were to use the included custom firmware (or any other firmware), could I revert to my default factory firmware in case something goes wrong?omegas421 (2008-06-25)
why is it that when i try to play it it says the copyright protection information is invalid? how can i fix it?Link0373 (2008-07-27)
It works! THANK YOU!whiteboy100 (2008-09-17)
Do you think it will work on a 3.80 firmware?flamingfuzzy (2009-06-30)
To anyone with Copywrite infringement: You need custom firmware. Google it.To in5ult080t: Yes. If you keep your hacked battery, and a magic memory stick(the way I did it), you can do the exact same thing in reverse. Remove the custom firmware, and replace it with official firmware

Xtshock:Propably you have a setting wrong in the Recovery mode(If you have CFW).
Completely shutdown the decide(from the select-menu or by simply holding the power button down long enough.
Now, hold the R button down and turn the power on. You will go to a black screen with red text if done correctly. Then, select configuration and press x once on the option with the "UMD required" or etc..
Hope this helps.

After i Download what I will do in this 4 RAR ?skillzorz (2012-11-06)
Thanks! I'm replaying all the FF games on PSP. I started with FFIV The Complete Collection, but somehow got sucked into 7.. lol. 7 is the only one I have played before, except for small portions of 8 and 9. I only played like an hour or two of 9 on PS 1 years and years ago.I got to the final two battles in 7 and wasn't able to beat Sephy at the end, and lost my memory card. Now I want to replay the entire thing and follow the story as much as possible, since it's been about ten years. Hopefully by the time I finish all of them, they will have released Final Fantasy X HD on PSN for PS3.
I hope this works with 6.60 PRO. I will report back here if it does or doesn't. (Unless I forget)
