Actually I was deeply shocked when I watched this series. I admit it can be exciting as a spectacle, but it extremely preconceived, politicized and nonobjective. Trust me, those people who filmed it do not have neither sensible look to today's Russia nor any interest in it's good future.
As a Russian citizen, I can assure you that Mr. Putin has completely deserved his credit among our country's population as only we can now how difficult it is to rule our government with it's complicated affairs and with our land's difficult history. We really still have a lot of corruption but our second president is the man who thinks firstly about the common people and who is not indifferent to the Russia's image at the international area. It is possible that sometimes in this struggle with selfish and impertinent oligarchs he is forced to use not simple means but that has nothing to do with totalitarian regime as the opposite side due to the confusion of the Yeltsin's era is used to setting the rules which are profitable only for themselves.
For those who still believes in Cold War's looks and thinks that Russia is a living picture of anti democracy I would advice before forming your attitude to study some alternative of interpretations of current political events.
If you see such films as BBC's "The Power of Nightmares" or to read John Perkin's and Noam Chomsky's books you can realize that there have always been some information wars intended to distort our imagination of the real world.
With all respect to the seeders I want to ask everyone watching this series or ??? not to yield to the impressions and not to believe in Russia's image created by some of the Western media. We certainly realized our previous Communist delusion but that does not make us some evil empire or whatever like this.
