Sometimes the original stands the test of time, and as talented as the new cast is, you would be better served to download the original David Lean production with Omar Sharif, Julie Christie, Geraldine Chaplin, Alec Guiness and Rod Steiger. Still as gorgeous and epic as the day I first saw it in 1965. If you can't improve on it, why bother! The eighth most popular film of all time, adjusted for inflation.
