This works on PCSX2 with glitchy movie scenes. This may be because of my graphics card though.
I reccomend playing it from your HDD rather than burning from disk if your HDD is faster than your DVD burner.

I downloaded the torrent and then finished it up by bit-torrent ,then i extracted it,this weird folder came and they aren't image files,what should i do and how can i write these files for ps2 DVD? pls help!!! i did it with alcohol but there are 4 files F7-AA-IMG-DAT,the IMG file is 245kb so i dont thing that's the correct one...HELP!!!!

its so glitchy in the emulator im running psx2 0.9.8 running it on a amd phenon 2 6core 16gb ram ddr3 1600 PS3 12800 asus gtx 450 x2 and all i get its the emulator droppin speeds down to about 30fps on turbo without it its 19 and the main menue stayys up while the movie scenes are going it takes about 10 min for the first movie to finish out

so uhh... this finished last night(it said there was 4h's left, I slept for 7 or 8 so there's a good couple hours of seeding) and it runs... but the issue I'm having is that the cinematic's are flickering, and there's black thin lines going through them. I've tried everything i can think of, but i cant fix it.. :/ this is the last FFVII game I haven't played yet and really want to play..

Downloaded the Torrent, only took a few hours. Oddly though, I can't get the Game itself to run. File Types Included: .bin, .19, .CNF, .F7, .AA, .DAT; There is also an .ISO File included labeled "ioprp", but the file itself is only 245 Kb, and that won't load the game. Any advice?

Alright, so I figured out what was wrong when I was trying to get the game working! Firstly, the file you download from here DOES WORK. But something that isn't mentioned is that you need PowerISO (Or the Magic one, forget what its called) to get it to work properly. So here's what I did to get the game working.
1: Download this Torrent.
2: Download PowerISO
3: Use PowerISO to Mount FF7: DoC
4: Load up your preferred Ps2 Emulator.
5: Locate and Load up FF7: DoC.
6: Enjoy.

3. Download a PS2 Bios Pack (Google, my friend)
4. Install PCSX2
5. Extract the PS2 Bios Pack into the "Documents/PCSX2/bios" folder
6. Open PCSX2
7. Follow on-screen instructions
8. From PCSX2 window,
CDVD => ISO selector => Browse... => (Then find your torrent file)
9. From PCSX2 window,
System => Boot CDVD (full)

To answer the questions; This can be played on a hacked PS2. Youtube had instructions on how to hack your PS2 to run burnt CDs last I looked. It can also be played using the PCSX2 emulator on PC.
