I can't get this to work either...could you give more detail for intel mac with parallels/vista running. I am unable to "unpack and install", I keep getting "you need previous file to install" , something like that.
Any info would be appreciated..

For those with problems (I think it works ok on Vista but not on XP):
- rename the file from info5.bin to PBActivation.pbact
- start the app
- under the [Help] menu look for the upgrade menu
- select the local update option vs. web
- you can then select the .pbact file and it should register
I am not sure if this works on other platforms.

I don't know how to use the Keymaker.jar file to get the info5.bin file.
It's certainly not included .....

This works in a mac as well. This is the procedure.
Unrar all the files. There are zips under rars etc?pretty annoying.
Now double-click on the .jar file. This will generate the activation file. Copy the generated .bin into the clipboard.
Now go to you applications folder and right click on PersonalBrain.app. Then select "show content of package?". Go to "/Contents/Resources/app/res" and simply paste your .bin file?.

Thanks for the upload, works great. Copied the generated .bin file to the /reg folder. first time loading up it showed as unregistered. redit the keygen with a first and second name and works fine. also you can download the update and it works fine :) anyone unable to unzip the files... maybe personal brain isnt for you... ;) just follow the steps salkerNOVA has kindly taken the time to exspain

download torrent.
extract all.
run personal brain setup.
to make hardware dependent key file first install Java Runtime environment.
run command "java -jar keyfilemaker.jar"
it will open a key generator window.
click on generate.
it will create a file info5.bin.
rename it to pbactivation.pbact.
open personal brain.
go to upgrade pro.
select upgrade through browser.
locate file. give the path. Have fun...!!!

For those with problems (I think it works ok on Vista but not on XP):
- rename the file from info5.bin to PBActivation.pbact
- start the app
- under the [Help] menu look for the upgrade menu
- select the local update option vs. web
- you can then select the .pbact file and it should register
BUT on my laptop dbl click keyfilemaker gives different result:instead of activation and info.bin I get
keygen.class
Z.class
V.class
I.class
something to do with expired trial ?

keyfilemaker behaves differently on two practically identical laptops -- both vista
one gives info.bin on dbl klik the other gives z.class v.class
help me if you can im feeling.........

the keyfilemkerjar writes the infobin which will download to the same place as the zips d-ooth etc
rename this PBActivation.pbact
update in help
localfile
copy PBActivation.

Worked fine with method budgiebutt on installation of one laptop. When I'm trying to install on my personal laptop is says wrong activation code...
Don't understand why it worked first time and now it says wrong activation code. Any Thoughts? thx in advance..
