These .aac won't play in iTunes on my mac. How do I convert them?

slickvmc (2008-08-30)

They won't play on a pc either. Help Please?!

Select All - Open with VLC Player - Arrange playlist by name - File (Streaming/Export Wizard) - follow directions - choose format - export.
I have no idea what these files were designed to be played in, but they don't open in Quicktime, which means they won't open in Itunes.
VLC Player handles them fine.
Thanks for the up.

OR to convert...
in iTunes right-click (CTRL+click) the file(s) and select "Create MP3 Version" I do this all the time. it will create a new MP3 version of any song. (if not MP3 then its whatever file type you have set in your preferences for importing a CD, AIFF, AAC, etc.)
OR...
mac users can download a free program called "Switch". This will convert ANY audio file into any other type and is VERY simple.

OOPS, nevermind. Definitely doesn't work. The above post using VLC does the trick though.
There is also a new **FIXED** version beeing seeded now. So no need to even mess with this bad boy.

One of the albums of 2008. Excellent cover versions from Santogold and other vocalists mixed in with great samples and material from Santogold's album.
I had trouble getting this to play in my regular audio player, xmms but vlc does the trick. The bit rate averages at 192kb/s for those interested in how much compression was used.
