This release (including the keygen) all scans fine with AVG pro (which I find sensitive enough that it often gives false-positives when scanning keygens).
The game works fine; although I had to use a crack from elsewhere to get this to work under Vista-32 bit. I've seen other people the crack provided in this torrent to make the game work fine, so it must be something specific to my system.

I see so many people posting stupid comments about this having a virus. Listen kids, almost EVERY single game crack or keygen will come up as a virus from most scanners.
They work the same as a virus in a way, its doing something thats not mean't to be done, so scanners see that as a threat with false positives.
I understand why you would be cautious, but i've downloaded multiple games from AiTB and they have ALL been clean. Trust me, this and all his other uploads should be perfectly fine.

I began this game playing Jeniffer Mui and saved sometimes. When I entered the game for the second time, It sent a menssage like this: "One or more save files are currupted and you may not be able to continue the game from where you was". So now I lost my progress, there isn't even the "Continue" button there even tough I can click on it, but starts a new game with the principal character choosen already.

here is a guide how to get lan in mercenaries 2 :)
1. Download file
2. Extract to game dir

4. Start new OFFLINE game
5. Save game, and quit.
6. Open file Mercs2.ini in notepad.
7. Under [Network] make Username=Mcfly , you can use any username you want without spaces.
8. Using Windows explorer, go to

9. Back to the game directory.

Note: XP users won't have to Run as an Administrator because the option doesn't exist, game will still work though. Now go to the shortcut tab. In the "Target" field leave everything in quotes. But after it type in your LAN IP address.

12. Disable Windows Firewall through the control panel.
13. (Host Only) Open mercs2server shortcut.
14. Open Mloader shortcut.
15. (Host)In game click New-game and select Online. (Guest) Select join game then quick match.
16. Should be prompted for a Username. Type in the one you used on the Mercs2.ini and leave the password blank.
Make sure the guest uses your LAN IP if you are hosting.
I have frame network 4.0 and C++ Visual Runtime installed, those maybe contributing factors if it doesn't work.
Some of my steps may be pointless to others, but this is what worked for me. My computer is a Windows 7 PC, my guest is a Windows XP user. So seems pretty universal to me.
Hopefully this fixes any confusion, if that isn't enough let me know if I need to make a step by step visual guide. Goodluck! Thanks to TeknoGods for keeping a good game alive.

I don't know what i'm doing wrong, I got the torrent, mounted the .iso, installed it to where I wanted it, copied the Crack folder from the cd drive to where I installed it, then when I try to open the game, it says that I need to put in a cd-key. I tried a million and one cd keys, and none worked. Please help??

the game seems to work until i select my character and it goes to the loading screen. i got the blue screen of death after a couple min's of loading, but i figured it was something i changed under the video settings. so i started with default settings and waited almost 10 minutes at the loading screen before i gave up and alt+f4'd. i didnt install the EA download manager, which im about to try.
I have 4gb ram, 2.13ghz dual core intel. and intel HD integrated graphics, somewhere over 3gb.
menu didnt seem laggy at all and i can play Gears of War and Halo 1 & 2 just fine. have no idea whats goin on.
