Sayid and Desmond hit a bit of turbulence on the way to the freighter, which causes Desmond to experience some unexpected side effects.
It looks like this weeks release is again smaller than your "average" 720p MP4 file. As before, as with all the HD stuff (inc. Heroes S2) I have used the same settings on the same program. I am guessing that the recent update to either iTunes (and Quicktime) and/or VisualHub that is getting a smaller files at the same quality. If anyone can shed some light on this that would be great.

again here: hej, nice download, thanks for the good work! works fine watching it on PC using VLC, but I don't see see files neither on PS3 nor the 360 ... didn't DL the first two episodes but only the last 3 till S05 (they all don't apear in the selection menu on the consoles) ... any ideas???phileuro (2008-03-04)
how do I get this onto my apple tv? It needs to be coverted (I presume) to go into itunes. Normally I would do this with VisualHub, but my settings must be wrong because when I do it with this I end up with horribly jerky video.hooghlyrocks (2008-03-04)
phileuro: the file that you have downloaded is iTunes ready.... I download the MKV, convert to MP4 720p H.264 AAC (this is an Apple Codec) and add it to my iTunes.... my iTunes is then set to sync with my Apple TV - I then watch it.... THEN publish it... the torrent is then uploaded using the same file that I just uploaded and tested. To add this file to your Apple TV all you have to do is add the file as you would with any other file you add to iTunes...
Hope this helps :0)

dididude: I have had reports from a few of these downloads that they all work on Apple TV (I have this so can confirm), PS3 and 360....I don't have a PS3 or 360 so I can not test or advise how to watch this file on those... can anyone else help dididude?
I use the same method for converting every time so that you all get consistent results.
As for using something more native to watch this on your PC (again I don't have one so can not test) is to use a Quicktime Alternative Codec then watch in Media Player 10....

Hope that this helps

I have a problem somewhat related to dididude's - your latest releases will not play on my Apple TV. I suspect there's a problem in the way you're converting them, because your last three releases won't sync.hooghlyrocks (2008-03-17)
Hey Bananahammockz, not sure what your issue is there but just to let you know the QT that I do before release.1. I use the same method, same settings, same original file to produce each release
2. After conversion I add the metadata then add to iTunes
3. I sync to AppleTV, then let it load to Apple TV's HD
4. I then start watching it, skip through it, play to end
5. I then publish the file direct from my iTunes library
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of iTunes and have updated to AppleTV take 2.
Oh, also the ONLY thing that I have changed in the last 3 (prior to this one) episodes is that I have added the TV rating, please ensure that you have not restricted your AppleTV (and or iTunes as I am not sure how the Parental Guidance works as I never used it) Parental Guidance settings?
Let me know how you get on. :0)
