If you have problems with download speed READ THIS!
1. If you don't have cable, your download speed will be greatly reduced from the start (usual speed ~150 using DSL).

and install it, then your QuickTime Player will support most (if not all) of the codecs that you'll find movies encoded in on the net.

You need to unpack the .rar files first. DL WinRar and then double lick on one of the .rar files. Extract to wherever you can find it on your comp. DL VLC and then watch 'til you're heart's content.

Good quality for a cam. I burnt it onto disc and then played it through my DVD player which upgrades the picture. The quality is now VHS. Sound works well too.... Over all a dam fine upload.... NICE ONE!!!

i am guessing your problem is you are trying to play the .avi in windows media player, which by default, can not play .avi files
its rubbish if you ask me.
anyway, download this codec:

then run it, and you will be able to play .avi movies.
or download a better media player, (vlc player) at this link:
vlc plays almost all video formats, so you wont have to download any more codecs.

This is a great movie and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Can't wait for a DVD-Rip to come on here L8r so I can see it in better quality.
I see that they may be remaking the 1986 movie 'SHORT CIRCUIT' whose star is a Johnny 5 robot who WALL-E is the spitting double of. I wonder if there was a reason for that from the Pixar studio design team?
IMHO i'm sure everyone will love this movie...and maybe get a shock at the trashed planet scenes. Very simular to what we are heading for with our planet now :-(

Don't trust the preview - burn as a data disk, and watch 'em on your computer or a stand-alone (set-top) DivX player.
If that still doesn't work for you, install new CODECS.
Try C.C.C.P (Combined Community Codec Pack)
You might want to uninstall all other CODECS before loading new ones...Many problems arise from having too many loaded, but in my experience, the last ones LOADED take precedence.
Look around for "Codec Sniper"( be carefull with this 1) and "GSpot" (will tell you if you got the right stuff loaded to play) I had to "Snipe" a troublesome Nero CODEC to get audio on some MP4/avi files. Make sure you load C.C.C.P. after Nero install.

The twelve year olds in the messages need to stop being so over reactive. I was very excited to download this and watch it with my 3 year old son, and it was almost unbearable.
If you want to brag on a TS with the quality of a 10, the American Gangster film with Russel Crowe was the best TS I have seen in my life. It was released the same day that the film was released, and it was easily DVD quality.
This TS is CAM quality. It's just steady with good sound. The guy probably used a Sony Handycam to film this. Good effort, and it may be the best so far, but it still sucks nuts.

As for rar files use the free software 7-Zip to open them. Ignore the first file that is usually a srv or something like that, either open the second file which should be part 1 and right-click-7zip-extract here, or you may have to go to the last rar file and do the same thing. As for fixing the audio/video sync get YAAI, just punch it in a search engine and you will find the free download. Read the directions it comes with once you open it and it's a snap, just save by closing it after you sync up the audio.
