Lol 'born survivor.' Man vs. Wild is completely fake. You can still learn a lot from it but some of the advice he gives is just horrible, like free climbing a cliff face to reach 2 tiny bird eggs.

all 3 of the torrents for man vs wild are all seemingly 480 quality. horrible to watch on a tv.. even my laptops pushing it. :( good show... shitty quality

To Lovejam - Yes, Ray Mears is better, though he doesn't claim to be a "survivalist", he's a true woodsman.

I like to think of the things Bear does, as last resort things. As in 'I'm at wits end and have zero other option apart from death'. Other wise I'm not going to go and kill a seal for a wetsuit for the fun of it :')
