THX 1138 LaserDisc Rip by me ogvh5150 Xvid Codec and 256kbps mp3 audio. Captured to huffy codec. Post-Audio processing was done in Sound Forge 5. Two track mono Audio. I included the "Buck Rogers" intro since I think it was George Lucas' idea to show the viewer the contrasts of the "bright" future as opposed to a "dark" one where there is a state controlled society. A society where sexual intercourse is banned and there is medication for everything that ails you. And a state sponsored religion. Hey ogvh5150: If you're still around, thanks again for this. The quality is really pretty good for an avi. I wonder if you would be willing to rip this uncompressed as a DVD (iso, Video TS, etc). It's such a great film in its original cut. Needs to be preserved.

So far as I know, the original version of the film was only released on VHS and LaserDisc, so there is no DVDrip to be made.
Also, I am pretty sure all LaserDisc rips are done by (composite or S-Video) analog input to a tuner or capture card, so a perfect digital image (ISO/IMG) of the LaserDisc is not possible.
If anyone has a LaserDisc drive for a PC... is it for sale?
