Description:

This excellent video covers the band's career up until the 'Zenyatta Mondatta' album. Featuring extensive coverage and highlights mainly from their famous 1980 world tour, and many candid behind the scenes footage, this truly is a superb video about a groundbreaking band on a groundbreaking tour - and that's no hype. Some of the highlights include concert footage from Hong Kong, Japan, India, Egypt, Greece (the two minute Greek holiday), the boys riding camels around the pyramids, dressed as gauchos in Argentina, and a wild-eyed Sting losing it completely at a French show with someone in the audience - perhaps a security guy - calling them "you fuckin' bastard", prior to gobbing into the audience then leaning forward and hitting someone with the neck of his bass. 01 Next To You 02 Light Changes 03 Walking On The Moon 04 Born In The 50's 05 So Lonely 06 Man In A Suitcase 07 Can't Stand Losing You 08 Bring On The Night 09 Canary In A Coalmine 10 Voices Inside My Head 11 Driven To Tears 12 When The World Is Running Down You Make The Best Of What's Still Around 13 Shadows In The Rain 14 De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da 15 Don't Stand So Close To Me 16 Roxanne 17 Truth Hits Everybody 18 Message In A Bottle

Thanks SO MUCH to our esteemed uploader for this significant footage of the early Police when the boys were young and still fresh. I have this on Beta and wanted to get it on my hard drive. The live versions of their set list to date is incredible. I've listened to the audio from this documentary for years and the highlight is Shadows In The Rain. Sadly, many of the live songs are interspersed with other scenes and dialog but it's a stunning song never done better in my opinion.
Please, please Miles Copeland (you jackass) release this documentary on DVD with added features and scenes and make even more money off this great band.
Thanks again to the uploader!!!!!!!!!!!
