You might be able to test it for expiration by setting the clock up on your computer a couple of weeks or so.

If you install it with the internet disconnected and a serial that works you can then get little snitch to snitch on itself so it cannot check the registration :)

you make a new rule in little snitch and tell it to block little snitch UI agent (in your library)
works perfectly :)
