Description:

Plastics - Welcome Plastics (1979) Crazy Japanese electro-pop with silly, English nonsensical lyrics. A must-hear for every fan of Devo, B52's and other electro-goodness. I'm putting it up here because I've spent a long, long time looking for it and I don't think I'm the only one. My upstream isn't really impressive, but I'll seed as long as possible - hopefully someone with a better connection will help out at some point. Enjoy! ;)

Wow! I saw The Plastics lead off for the B-52s. I wasn't quite ready for them, but I bought this album at the show and still have the vinyl in my collection. Thanks, lillesvin, for making this available! I'll seed the shit outta this one because it's so hard to find.

I just created an account here, after years of using the site, just to tell you how much I appreciate you uploading this. It's pretty hard to find this album so to find a good quality copy was awesome.
Seeding so others can enjoy!

@phydeau3, I also saw them open for the B-52's in Central Park NYC, and then by themselves at Irving Plaza. I still have one of their 45s. :)
