you rename utup.bat to setup.bat
then you ONLY double click the install.bat
thats all you have to do, ahhh forgot, really important while installin/injecting a rip is,
not doing ANY background work! like, being online, or opening a window and doing anything there simple rename and double click install.bat (as far as i rember this was one folder back!...

Duuude whaddup, This torrent seems sick, but i can't play. I click on the exe and then nothing comes up and it just stops loading. I use Windows Task Manager and it says its open, but it doesn't show, when it says its already open, I get an error message when I try to run the exe again.

I downloaded it and got it to work. Heres how.
After extracting i clicked install.exe, then a new folder popped up. Then i clicked etup.exe. I didn't have to rename it to make it work.
After a long ass wait when its finished. You take the folder. Gta.Sanandreas
The folder with all the game in it. Make sure its the last folder within the folders containing the game stuff. Bcuz after i was done i had like 3 gta folders within folders.
Anyway. Just copy that Gta.Sanandreas folder into C:\program files
That solved the blank screen issue that pops up and goes back to desktop. Once i moved the folder into the correct directory it worked. But i still have no audio in cut scenes. if anyone has a solution for that speak up :D

Downloaded and unpacked fine, changed "_etup" to "_setup" and started installing, now I heard it took forever so to be sure I set it installing had a shower and went to sleep. Woke up 10 hours later apparently it was done so I double clicked the san andreas exe with anticipation, it loaded for about a second and then.... nothing happened. On furthur clicking of the exe I am presented with a windows error. Plain doesnt work.

game works fine, I got a couple virus warnings from AVG when installing from 1eyed.exe and trainer.exe but i continued on anyways it took me over 2 hours to install and I disregarded the warning from subzero to not do any background work and it worked fine anyways. The only problem is the no sound during cutscenes but oh well can't complain.

you have to UNRAR the game again into the same folder or any new one, and once you unrared you double click on "etup.bat" and you wait, (watch a movie) and dont do ANY background tasks , leave it alone while installing... that way you can be sure it will be a clear install!.... off here happy gaming

Why the fuck do the direction not even say to click on the setup exe? Why is the setup exe named etup.exe? Are you supposed to god damn change it? After havign to follow my own directions because the directions that are listed here are completely bogus, I get nothing but an error when trying to run the gta.exe after installation. This is how you actually install it, and it does seem to work. Download it, run the etup.exe, wait until it's done, then you need to --MOVE--the entire contents of the folder it is in to a different folder. No idea WHY that works, but its what you have to do.

The solution is simple.
Copy the "PC_GTA.SanAndreas-(rip)-(ToeD)" folder into a
C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games
if it doesn't exist already, create a folder in Program Files called "Rockstar Games".
launch gta_sa.exe again, and game works!

Man. This is ridiuclous. I rebooted my machine today after the game locked up for no apparent reason, and magically the piece of shit stopped working again, just like when I first tried installing and playing it before moving it to a different folder, except now nothing will get it working again. This thing is a waste fo your time. even if you get it to work chances are the POS will stop working and you will lose all the time you spent getting through the game because you can't play this POS any more. Fuq that.

i just copy the installation to a made up rockstar folder in prog files then launch and install? and rename that etup.bat to setup?

extract your download to this folder, (if you have missing files, its because of failed installations, after the install is finished, the temp file are gone, means no uha.exe or 1eyed.exe they have been deleted!
best thing would be to make this folder like above, THEN Unrar from downloaded files to this folder!.... ( dont move your old folder, were you already have tried install.) extract to ... and then double clicking ETUP.BAT should work aswell as renaming it to Setup.bat and starting with _install.bat.... good luck! and sorry for the inconvience...

For those of you saying it doesn't work here's what i did.
1) got and seeded torrent.
2) renamed etup.bat to Setup.bat
3) Clicked install
4) pressed any key like it said,
5) waited for it to finish,
6) made a folder called Rockstar Games in my program files.
7) copied all the installed data and stuff that was in the torrent, except the install file to the rockstar games folder
8) now it all works perfectly

4) Vänta på att det ska installera klart
5) Gör en mapp i C:/Program som heter Rockstar Games

Hey I'm having problems...
I thought I did everything right, maybe I missed something...? I did have alot of problems.
My game has alot of graphic errors such as my guys legs have mesh issues (screwed up hardcore) and alot of the characters have similar issues.

OK, I've downloaded an UNRARed the stuff and moved the folder to Rockstar Games in Program Files. I then renamed etup.bat to sertup and then went and double clicked install.bat.
It then comes up with a screen thing with stars flying around. It says it's injecting. Do I just leave this until it's finished? Thanks

As first: Thanks for the torrent!, but to bad, it also dont work here :( This is what i've done:
Im renamed etup to setup, double clicked on it. Then it installed, then i presst 'Install_' but then that little black screen turns on, and says: Press any key to continue, then i press a key, but then it just dissapears. When i press the Gta_Sa icoon in the installed map, it loads, but like every one it shuts down when it comes to the GTA SA image. Can you please help me with that?

I've downloaded the game, it runs fine. I was fist confused wondering why there were so many parts to the folder, but I later figured they're all copies of the same file repeated 16 times. Why? I have no idea.
Its a real downfall that the torrent has no sound during cut scenes. If anyone does have a solution to the problem to the no sound in cut scenes issue I would greatly appreciate a solution.
Subzero, this is a nice torrent, though it would have been far better if you had included ALL the components for the game - In this case, the sound. And I would also recommend next time including more precise instructions and details, along with being more helpful when people ask you a question regarding installation issues or your mistakes, rather than throwing around the term "idiots" at everyone.

There's a high probability that it could just be a bug. Though I'm sure it can be repaired by copying the original components of the game and replacing them with ones supplied with the download.

First of all there's a trojan horse in the download.
I installed the game and it works fine. But no radio sound, or speech sounds which it pretty annoying.
Try one of the other San andreas torrents. No virus and no sound issues.

look folks - to those of you getting the error message - lets settle this once and for all . people like to overcomplicate things - so ill say this in laymans terms . once u unzipped everything and what not - after u click on the icon , it starts but u get the error message , right ? ok , so make a new folder on ur desktop.... you see where the san andreas icon in the folder is ? take everything out of that folder , the icon , the folders , everything . now its in ur new folder .....delete the old one if u like , as its empty ... now the game will start fine . hey presto , bobs your uncle and mildreds your aunt ! its that its such a small download for such a large file.....but personally ive started downloading the 3.5 gig version , as the game loses alot without sounds and music . sure , i can put my own soundtrack in .....but the pedestrians dont even speak . so if you want to play the game the way it was meant to be , i

hi im having a problem on the game, im about 35% into it and im on the second island and iv done all the missions for this part, exspet one beuase it dosnt work... (the mission where you have to go to the airport to get the man out the back of the van and you have to blow up the truck etc etc) anyways i blow up the van and it says "lets get outta here before the cops show" anyway so a red marker apperars on the screen, i then get into the car with them and i drive to the red marker, (red marker is just outside the airport) but just before i get to the marker it disaperars of the street but its still marked on the map, iv tried everything but it just disaperes so i cant complete the mission, iv tried that mission over 20 times but still no hope cam someone please help me as iv just been wondering around in san andreas for like 3 weeks lol please please please please....

i extracted all the files to a location of my choosing, ran the DOS setup than opened the sub folder next to the DOS and ran UHAH or some name along that lines and the game works fine, it just takes a freaking long time to do it, so load it when you go to bed or some other gay thing like that

For me the game only ran up untill the first title screen, then went black and din't do anything. If anyone else is having this problem try changing the file directory (rename containing folders/move folders etc.) and it should fix it :]

xfire does support this, but xfire doesn't detect it automaticly sometimes. Go to options > Games > not installed > GTA San Andreas > Manual setup > The folder where you installed GTA SA. Press ok and then apply. Xfire will support it then :)

Okay so it downloaded quickly and installed slowly xD took like an hour and a half...
HOWEVER after twiddling stuff around and integrating the files into the correct directories, the game works fine :]
I had to adjust some of the settings to get the framerate correct but it's okay now.
I'm currently downloading a torrent from TPB called "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - The Complete Soundtrack" which contains most of the sound files for the game, so after that's done i'll put them in the right place and tell you if it works :)

Guys this torrent works perfectly, but there is a small virus that basically any anti-virus system can take out, its in the trainer.exe (by the way subzero didnt put the virus in on purpose).
This torrent works great no lag. The only problem with it is the sound! but you can upload your own music by copy and pasting your own music into User Tracks which can be found in your documents. ENJOY!

1. CREATE A FOLDER "ROCKSTAR GAMES" IN
C:\PROGRAM FILES. Im sure you probably should be able to create the folder in the drive, folder you want to install the game but im not sure abt this.
2. OPEN YOUR DOWNLOAD FOLDER AND EXTRACT ONLY "PC_GTA.SanAndreas -(rip)-(ToeD).part01" TO C:\PROGRAM FILES\ROCKSTAR GAMES.
3. THEN RENAME etup.bat to Setup.bat.
4. GO BACK ONE FOLDER AND DOUBLE CLICK _install.bat .
5. HOORAY YOUR GAME SHOULD WORK. MINE DID STRAIGHT AWAY.
DO NOT DO ANY BACKGROUND TASKS AT ALL OR RUN ANYTHING ELSE. THE ONLY THING I HAD RUNNIN WAS NORTON.

Was glitchy at first but i guess San Andreas is one of those games like Archlord dont work well with more than one cpu running , so dual core and quad core systems will have to pause game, alt tab to desktop, open task manager right click on gta application and click affinity and disable all CPU, just leave one. the game should work after with no glitches =]

this is awesome! the install didnt take too long, i just watched tv while it was installin. for the intro scroll text, just click it and itll go away. follow all the instructions and everything will be fine. there is only one problem, some of the audio is missing. i dont care about the audio in the cutscenes, but the radio dont work and neither does my own uploaded mp3s. plz help!

I had to download this release because the regular .ISO versions have graphical errors. I deleted the .ISOs to download this rip but there's no radio stations and no speech. I'm quite disappointed about it. So now I have to re-download the .ISO version again just to copy the sound files. Other than the audio, this works very well. I didn't have any problems with the install, no crashes, and it also includes a trainer. Fast download as well, I was peaking at 550kb/s. I finally found a version that works graphically, but the sound, or lack thereof, is a disappointment.

I found a way to get the rest of the missing cutscene sounds and other hidden sounds, including the pedestrian voices. You have to download Subzero's ultimate version of the game. Then you replace the six main folders of this rip with the ones from the ultimate version, and there you go - you can now hear everything.
I downloaded the ultimate version especially for the rest of the sounds - for almost 19 hours at 60 kbps. The game didn't work for me though because of my system (definitely not because of the torrent itself, it's perfectly good!!), so I was quite pissed. I was reading the comments to see what others were saying, and somebody suggested to just replace all the main folders. Did that, and voila. Now all the sounds are there, and it hasn't crashed or anything either.
I'm just letting you all know this as a suggestion. If you really want the missing sounds from here and you wanna dl the ultimate version, go ahead. It takes a while though but it's worth it (for me, at least.)

Do not run "_install.bat"
I do not know what happened, the file that supposed to be "setup.bat" is "etup.bat" (s is missing) after i extracted. Strange... I think who all recently downloaded this face this problem.
But the comments show early downloaders had no problems with it!
We can not decompress the game by running "_install.bat" since that bat invoke "setup.bat".
But there is no "setup.bat" but "etup.bat". Running "etup.bat" works :)

another problem. my machine is quite good. i can play CoD4. but i can't play San Andreas in 32bit colors. Lag, Delay, Slower gameplay and low FPS. But 16bit colors work well.

Hey guys. because my computer is stupid, it sometimes randomly makes a window pop open during anything im doing. It didnt take me long to figure out that every time that happens, it stops the decompression in the middle of it.
When i open it back up it says:
"File "1eyed.exe" already exsists. Overwrite (y/n/a/c)?"
I assume y and n stand for yes and no, so what do a and c stand for?
