About the movie: Tropa de Elite can be considered a sequence of what City of God left off. Due to the nature of crime in favelas, BOPE units have extensive experience in urban warfare as well as progression in confined and restricted environments. It also utilizes equipment deemed more powerful than traditional civilian law enforcement. Plot summary: The movie, set in 1997, depicts the story of Captain Nascimento, a BOPE captain, who with the imminent birth of his first child, is determined to leave the battalion and find a safer position for the sake of his family, but first he must find a suitable replacement for him. At the same time, the movie focuses on two childhood friends, Matias and Neto, who become cadets in the military police, but become dismayed at the corruption surrounding them. Eventually both Nascimento and the cadets' paths intersect, when the captain hopes that one of the two may become the substitute he is eager to find, as both decide to join the BOPE. Anyone know the exact title of the song played at the beginning of the movie?
I know it is made by MC Leonard and MC Junior and the song is titled "Rap Das Armas". Have found two versions, one "funk" and one "samba school" but none of them sounds exactly like the one in the movie.
Need it for a DJ set. :)

Don't download. Horrible quality for such a big file. I've seen 700mb rips that look better. The movie is not even 2 hours long. Also, the translation is in the center of the screen, small and italic and often badly translated.

@Jezpuh I agree. The embedded subs are awful. Some appear on the screen for a thousandth of a second and are often poorly worded or misspelled. The video quality is very average as well, definitely doesn't warrant a 1.33GiB size.

That's why I do not believe in American oscar. Brazil has the best movies, among them, City of
God(Cidade de Deus), Elite Squad 1 and 2(Tropa de Elite 1 e 2), Beetle(Besouro), Our Home(Nosso Lar), The best things in the world(As melhores coisas do mundo), etc .... These films should quietly winning the statuette. It's a shame that the film academy is so unfair and biased, benefiting only American films that are repetitive, and often empty.
