One important point that a lot of people overlook in the debate over subtitles or dubs is that fact that subtitles are limited in length due to screen size and and time restraints. This means that what you read on the screen is generally a truncated version of what's actually being said. You get enough to follow the plot but subtleties are lost, jokes in particular are often completely eliminated.
I agree that dubbing usually sounds unnatural, especially at first, but because aural processing speed is much faster, the dubbed translation is fuller and more detailed. Therefore it allows for greater expression and you end up hearing the movie in a form that is actually closer to the original language version.

Thanks for putting this up. The voice casting and dubbing is HORRIBLE. It REALLY detracts from the film because it's SO annoying. If I were to buy this film, I'd definitely avoid the English dubbed version.

Dubbing isn't that bad at all, there's even appropriate atmospheric manip applied (ie: in the introduction the guy walks into a big empty room and the echo increases, then he walks into a big concrete cavernous room and the echo sounds more like it's bouncing off a hard concrete surface in a more echo filled room than before), it's nuances like that most dubbed films ignore outright, but they've actually put in effort to get the voices right, rather than dead pan or worse inappropriately inflected boringly read out script.
