Roots Part 5 of 6 - for Black History Month 2007

On the day of January 23,1977-the greatest event in the history of the world would change the format landscape of television as we know it. Even after years later,it still to this day holds the title of one of the best television mini-series of all time. Under the usual definition of a "series",ROOTS would not be included as a made for television movie-it was really an extended special. But in fact that it was the most-watched dramatic special in the history of television,and its considerable impact on its viewers was outstanding. The overall success of ROOTS was unprecedented. Approxiamately over 100 million viewers saw the concluding installment and it must be considered an event of considerable magnitude when nearly half of the entire population of the United States can be assembled in front of its television sets to watch a single dramatic presentation. No one,not even ABC,was prepared for anything this big. In fact,one of the reasons given for scheduling ROOTS on eight consecutive nights was that if it were a flop it would be over with quickly. But it wasn't. It became a tidalwave of a hit. And America was watching. I'll be seeding this episode tomorrow , 18th Feb . 2 currently has 8 seeds in the swarm and I can see 8 peers .
4 has 6 seeders that I can see and 16 peers .
You'll be okay with 6 as I'll be seeding that on the 20th .
If anyone can help stragglers I'm sure they would be appreciative .

I'm trying to upload the final torrent which was part of episode 1's torrent and thepiratebay is saying "invalid tracker" , so won't let me upload it .
What's that about , anyone know ??
The trackers in ep6 torrent are the same ie:
http://tracker.prq.to/announce and http://tpb.tracker.prq.to/announce .
Can't I use these any longer ??????

I just started upping ep6 for a couple of minutes to see it the trackers are valid and they both work and I got peers connecting . Yet I can't upload the torrent onto the bay and dht isn't on . WTF is happening ? I've tried contacting Admin to see if they know . Looks like I may have to create a new torrent for episode 6 if I don't get a reply from anyone before tomorrow as I still intend to seed then .

Well I tried the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page to ask Admin and the message merely bounced back to my email address as the contact link goes to nobody@localhost.prq.se (a little useless perhaps ?) .
So looks like I'll have to create a new torrent for ep 6 using as the tracker .

The quality of these divx's are imo very watchable so are sufficient for my needs . With the crap isp I have it would take me too long to down multiple dvd's . Kind offer though . Thanks Raggaty .

thanks for this collection. i am still seeding back. got a new torrent download client called utorrent, and it worked great downloading all 6 eps. overnight. have just seen on imdb that the 30th year DVD is coming out for 40 dollars. guess i already have it. great download . and thanks again. anyone gets caught and needs a seed pm me. just make sure you seed when your done.
