when i try to download torrents on TPB after they changed trackers i just keep getting an error message...is there anything special i have to adjust perhaps in Bitlord?

rlk, if you're getting 404's just retry a few times. Unfortunatly the servers overloaded. I'd suggest you use utorrent with its DHT mode to survive when TPB goes offline
