Wii Opera Internet Channel WAD **inAcrysis**

Opera Internet Channel for Wii. Just put it in wad folder on SD card & run wad manager on Homebrew & install it. A new channel will appear enabling you to browse the internet on your Wii. I think it's only for PAL but maybe not?

3.4 was the latest last time I looked, I'm on 3.2

Carry on mate! Would be great to chat to ya sometime regarding cIOS versions and all that. Interested in what you have to say regarding all this cIOS based on IOS36 - IOS38 : USB DRIVE compatibility issues everyone's whining on about. Everyone is sayin that after upgrading to cIOS rev13b (IOS38 based) that USB drives no longer detect, and they go back to cIOS rev10 (IOS36 based)
I'm still on cIOS rev8 that installed as part of my soft-mod pack (don't use mod chips)
Is it worth upgrading to cIOS rev13b, what are the compatibility benefits, will i need to tinker with my preloader v0.27 after changing cIOS, and is it worth all the agro ?!!!? lol
I figured that if i should ask anyone, you're the guy (or Ethereal lol)

Ignore my nintendo wii spec chart where it says "LOADS BY: loads straight into disc channel"
It's a generic comment i use on Wii game torrents that i test and comment on, and i just copy and paste to the bottom of my comment.
This internet browser installs as a channel on your Wii system menu.

As for cIOS etc - If it's working -- Don't try to fix it!
I've not touched mine since, well ages ago.
To be honest, I've lost touch a bit in recent months.
Some say that if you got Homebrew then upgrade to 4.0 then do this that & the other.
But, why?
For the time being, mine is staying right as it is.
Don't rush into new stuff that you don't need if all your games work!

Ok, this is what i found after tinkering (i couldn't help it lol)
My soft-mod pack (Ethereals pack) inbstalls cIOS36rev7 i think.
I installed cIOS38rev13b via network install.
Backup games played still but originals wouldn't.
Great i thought. Had to touch it and broke it, should have left it alone lol.
Installed cIOS36rev10 via network install (the last cios version based on IOS36 before they moved onto modifying IOS38) and low and behold i can play original discs aswell as backup discs again.
So, i'm leaving it alone now. I've upgraded from cIOS rev7 to rev10 which gives me USB hardrive support so i can do all i ever need, but yes... I agree... If it works, don't fix it!

What is this soft-mod pack you have mentioned in other torrents that allows you to downgrade to any firmware version for wii?
I use preloader 0.27 but all it seems to do is take firmware to 3.2e only. Am curious what you use!
I'm trying to get clued up on every wii utilty out there, thirst for knowledge etc

Everyone seems to be asking for a Demonoid invite. What exactly is Demonoid & why do you need an invite?

click my name & get my Wii 3.4 downgrader. Right now I can't remember which rar file it is, but one of the rar files in that torrent will let you downgrade your Wii to (if I'm right) anything from 2.1 - 3.4 (not exactly sure as it was December when I did it)
But if you are referring to my "adverts" on Wii game torrents then the torrent I mean is my 3.4 downgrader.
But nowadays it seems that once you got Homebrew etc installed it is ok to upgrade to 4.1 & install bootmii & bannerbomb etc. I've not yet done it as all my games work except for a couple which I've read need you to upgrade your Wii for them to work. Think I'll wait until the latest hack is 100% working (might be now but some people still having problems)

After installed, I try to run it from the new Internet Channel. App starts, but then I get a message, Channel cannot be used... then I have to reset the Wii. Not sure what is wrong, I'm running 3.2U on a PAL machine (Korean ver)
