Description:

And so we dip into the older archives for Show 3, as voted on by the llamas on the 4thellamas message board. If you are new to this site or haven't really participated, register for the boards so you can vote in polls on the SOTM downloads. This show comes from the 1994 tour, probably my all time favorite tour the band has ever done. During this tour, the band was recording a lot of shows for what would become their 200 More Miles CD, their first official live CD release. If you don't have this in your collection yet, run, don't walk, to your local CD store and get it. The performances are fantastic, and Margo's pigeon story from the Boulder Theater is hysterical. I've got several recordings from this tour, and there isn't a clunker show in the lot. The band was really on fire for the whole year. The Guthrie show has always been one of my favorites, because it includes many of my favorite songs and stellar performances. Getting a "Ring" opener always puts a smile on my face, but the rest of the show is just as good.

You can decode the Lossless audio FLAC files into WAV files with your favorite decoder ( see http://flac.sourceforge.net/ ) then write them to a CD with no gaps between the tracks (i.e. Disk At Once) for a complete "Live" show.

When you finish downloading this Torrent you can decode the FLAC files into a different folder to make the CDs. That way you can continue to seed the show for awhile.
I'm at the end of a long, very slow pipe and I stupidly put up all 25 shows at the same time. So when one show completes I pause it so the others will speed up. I didn't expect that there would be so many people who hadn't gotten the shows from www.4TheLlamas.com .
This was an experiment for people who were on dial-up and couldn't download easily from the site. I do leave the second machine in the other room seeding all the shows, but it isn't as fast as this one. I'll keep seeding, but help with that from the faster machines out there is appreciated.
Thanks.
These shows are out here because the band gave "unofficial" permission.
