Yes, this will work with your iBook provided you run at least 512mb of RAM. I am currently running 10.3 on an iMac 400Mhz with 1GB of RAM. See:

works a dream, if you are downloading on a pc just burn the CDs using Transmac software (free download that work fine, just google it)
the put CD one in and boot from CD (rrestart and hold down "C" key)
i have got this to run on a iMac G3 233mhz with 160MB ram (the first bondi blue) but if your going to do this make sure you have all the updates needes from apple for youe mac, i went from os 9 and only needed one update.

Help~
My iBook G4 gives me getty: dev/console: operation cannot be supported by device.
It loads entirely until it comes ot the point the log in screen should come up. However, it goes blue, then black and gives me that error. It continues to attempt to load, but never does. In stead, it just cycles through the error message and trying to load.
it worked fine one day, froze, and then never worked again.
