Description:

AUTOCAD 2012 MAC + CRACK "Design and shape the world around you with AutoCAD® software, one of the world’s leading CAD programs. Explore ideas more intuitively in 3D, speed documentation, share ideas seamlessly, and customize AutoCAD for your specific needs. With new and updated tools for 3D conceptual design, model documentation, and reality capture, AutoCAD 2012 helps design professionals maximize productivity." PLEASE SEED: app still hard to find in the internet Thanks to demonoid user "100" who uploaded the crack,"NikPercursionist" who wrote very detailed instructions and all the unknown others who freed the iso in the deep universe of the internet. The crack comes with instructions, however i'll post here the process written by demonoid user "NikPercursionist" too for further explanation. I followed those ones. ----------------------------------------------- ----------------INSTRUCTIONS------------------- ----------------------------------------------- FIRST OF ALL: use the crack which is outside the ISO. (Crack2012.dmg) HOW TO INSTALL AND CRACK "AutoCAD 2012 for Mac" [Mac OS X Lion ONLY]: I have written this step by step guide WHILE doing every single passage. If you follow this CAREFULLY you won't fail. 0) INSTALL "Xcode": don't go further if you haven't "Xcode" installed on your system (crack won't launch); 1) Download installation image here:; 2) Download crack here:; 3) DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET; 4) Mount "acad2012osx.iso" and "Crack2012.dmg", then mount "AutoCAD_2012_English_Mac_OSX.dmg" in the "acad2012osx.iso" image and click on "InstallAutoCAD 2012 for Mac.mpkg" in the "AutoCAD_2012_English_Mac_OSX.dmg" image. When on "Register" section during the installation click on "I want to try this product for 30 days" and complete the installation. 5) At the end of the installation process open "AutoCAD" application and click, when prompted, on "Activate", accept terms and conditions and click on "Continue". 6) Now open "Crack2012" file DIRECTLY (without extracting it out) on "Crack2012.dmg" image. STEPS TO FOLLOW in "Crack2012" application: 1) I wanna crack "Autocad"; 2) Insert "666-69696969" in the serial box, "777D1" in the product key box of the activation screen and click "Next", then re-insert serial (666-69696969) and check the "I have an activation code from Autodesk" box. Finally go to "Crack2012" and click "OK"; 3) Now "Activity Monitor" will open up. Find in "Activity Monitor" the process named "Autodesk License Management Utility" and write in "Crack2012" the PID of the process (column all on the left), clicking "OK" in "Crack2012" when done. 4) Now "Terminal" will open up with a lot of lines. Find the line (enlarge the "Terminal" window to search properly, or use search function) that begins with "__TEXT" and that ends with "…libFNP.dylib" and write in "Crack2012" the FIRST of the two HEX numbers that are in that line (the two numbers are separated by a minus (-) sign). For example in the line "__TEXT […] 11111111-00000000 […] libFNP.dylib" you should write "11111111" in "Crack2012" box. When done click "OK" in Crack2012. 5) Now you will be asked to insert your user password in "Terminal". Do it and you will see other lines go fast on the screen. When they stop, click "OK" in Crack2012. 6) Now other lines will go fast on the screen and "xforce2012" application will be launched automatically. Click the "Mem Patch" button on the application, wait for other "Terminal" lines to go fast on the screen and when they stop click "OK" in "Crack2012". 7) Other lines will go fast on the screen and now you should receive a message from "xforce2012" application and from "Crack2012" file that patching was SUCCESSFUL. Click "OK" in both messages. 8) Copy the "request code" from activation screen to the "xforce2012" application and click on "Generate" to generate the "activation code" to paste in the activation screen. Paste the "activation code" in the activation screen (it's shorter than expected, but it's OK, because you have patched program's memory). When done click "Next" and then "Finish".

komael (2011-11-09)

i am following the steps correctly but when the crack file tells me to wright the password in terminal i do the following but terminal won't let me type anything .... any answers ...????

g5vc (2011-11-09)

The crack inside the ISO will work with S.Leopard, i believe. Good luck ;)

macomaniac (2011-11-10)

I am under Lion. I followed exactly the instructions, 6 first steps, then 8 steps related to "Crack2012" application, without trouble, and got apparently the jackpot when the window of Autocad registration declared the app had been successfully activated. BUT when clicking 'finish', the last final step before been able to use Autocad, alas! return of the previous window saying the application has to be activated etc.
I repeated several times the process of registration, after removing the files in the Library, internet off, even using the 'root session' : same issue each time.

CaptBlood (2011-11-10)

same for me macomaniac
Get to last screen. hit OK and it goes back to Activate screen

g5vc (2011-11-10)

did you disconnect from the internet?

macomaniac (2011-11-11)

I finally managed to successfully activate Autocad repeating the method given by g5vc (thanks dude!). Avoiding seemingly the failure I stated previously when clicking in the end on 'Finish' by : 1) editing a rule in LittleSnitch denying forever any connection from app. Autocad to home immediately after achieving the installation of Autocad ; 2) when obtaining the final screen : you have successfully activated Autocad, instead of clicking 'Finish', asking the computer to 'Re-Start', which gives a white screen with Autocad registration window staying alone and freezing the re-starting. Just clicking then on 'Finish' in that window, so that the computer re-starts. When done, relaunching Autocad opens a new window asking if you want to give feedback or not after use (I checked 'no'), and then Autocad App launches normally at last.

i.kube (2011-11-14)

hey guys can some 1 help me i couldn't find
the line
libFNP.dylib in the activity monitor.
and the activity monitor is get timed out really soon...!
I'm new to mac and don't know the coding process
dat well can some one help .

macomaniac (2011-11-15)

Hi i.kube! From reminding my own installation, you will find the right line about the first third of the series amounting nearly to a hundred of lines in a whole shown in the activity monitor screen. Four or five of them in a row end with 'libFNP.dylib', just select the single one beginning with __TEXT as explained by g5vc and copy the first HEX numbers to paste in "Crack2012" window at that step.

victoriaauto (2011-11-15)

i can't find the file __TEXT ??????

MADianito (2011-11-16)

Anyone knows why terminal won't accept my password?? this is weird, i do type the password (which i suppose can't be seen on the "terminal" screen) and then click the OK in the crack, but then "terminal" prompts a message of wrong password... Anyone? a hint? my pass has capitals, is that wrong for "terminal"?

macomaniac (2011-11-16)

Hi MADianito! Just type your password as computer user in the Terminal window (no character shows in that window when you type) and press the 'Enter' key, without paying attention to any line showing consequently in said Terminal stating something is wrong. "Crack2012" application will work fine when clicking 'OK' then at that step.

victoriaauto (2011-11-16)

i already found the line of text like this __TEXT 05cc2000-06218000 [ 5464K 5420K] r-x/rwx SM=COW ...libFNP.dylib which one of the hex i should i uses???

victoriaauto (2011-11-16)

result like this arning: Could not find object file
"/Users/lol/adesk2011_kg_osx/libcryptopp.a(filters.o)"
- no debug information available for "filters.cpp".
..... etc

victoriaauto (2011-11-16)

arning: Could not find object file
"/Users/lol/adesk2011_kg_osx/libcryptopp.a(filters.o)"
- no debug information available for "filters.cpp".

macomaniac (2011-11-16)

Hi victoriaauto! First point : 05cc2000 is the right series of eight numbers in your case, to copy and paste in"Crack2012" application window. Second point : if such lines as 'could not find object file etc.' show in Terminal after you entered your password, don't mind about that and just click OK in "Crack2012" application to access to step 6 ("xforce2012" application launching) as explained by g5vc's instructions.

kjmac9 (2011-11-21)

I have no computer experience, am new to apple and followed the directions exactly and it worked without a problem... THANK YOU!

ARGON13 (2011-11-30)

Hello everyone... It work very well, instructions might not be very clear but when done with lots of patience it WILL work... but i have 1 last question: once it has been installed, patched and activated, and is fully functional, can I run Autocad and be connected to the internet at the same time???? thanx a lot, and cheers to everyone!!

macomaniac (2011-12-01)

Hi ARGON13!
You can use LittleSnitch, an app. enabling to deny specified applications to calling home when launched, so that you can use said application while connected to the net without trouble.
If you have not Little Snitch already, you can download it there :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6758346/Little.Snitch.v2.4.4.MacOSX-P2P

Be careful : you need to use Little Snitch in 'recursive' mode at start, making a rule denying LittleSnitch itself to call home, in order to use the app without trouble (lol).
Just create after that a 'new rule' in Little Snitch, selecting Autocad as specific target in your applications folder, and denying connection of Autocad to home (any server), before clicking OK.

ARGON13 (2011-12-01)

thanks a lot macomaniac!!! long live the pirate bay!!!

Cap_Japseye (2011-12-06)

Hi I am having a problem with the line "PID of the process (column all on the left), clicking "OK" in "Crack2012"
Firstly I have to open activity monitor (didn't auto open) and "Autodesk License Management Utility" is found. If i click on "open files and ports" i see a load of code but from here I'm stuck as I dont know what PID is ....

macomaniac (2011-12-07)

Hi Cap_Japseye!
The PID stands for Pr(ocess) ID(entification number) you can find, when opening a window of Activity Monitor (app. to be found in your Utilities folder) just at the starting point of each line concerning the applications processes of your computer, before the name of the app. It is composed in most cases of three numbers, sometimes of four ones.
You have just, regarding Autocad cracking, to find the line concerning Autodesk License Management Utility, COPY the three or hour numbers showing in the beginning of that line and PASTE it in Crack2012, before clicking OK in said Crack app.

palben.mr (2011-12-14)

Hi, I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Snow Leopard. How can I do to activate the program?

macomaniac (2011-12-18)

Hi palben.mr!
Through following carefully the steps given in the Instructions above, you will end to successfully activating Autocad with some patience.
I would like, from my own experience at it, to give the following hints : 1) don't forget, at start, to download Xcode App. (if you haven't it installed), from this link e.g. (for Snow Leopard) :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/5793708/Xcode_3.2.3_and_iOS_SDK_4.0.2
and to install it. Be aware Snow Leopard but support Xcode 3.2 up to 4.0, and not 4.1 reserved to Lion. 2) Instead of disconnecting from internet as step 3, you can better wait for Autocad app. to be installed in your Applications folder (step 4), in order to deny it to call home (any server) using Little Snitch (link to download Little Snitch and trick to use it safely given in the comments). 3) When arrived at the ultimate point (in step 8 using Crack2012), instead of clicking directly in Autocad window on Finish, better to ask first for the computer to restart and after that to click Finish in Autocad window to unblock the restarting. When relaunching Autocad after that, you should be OK.
For the rather complicated procedure described as steps 1 to 8 using Crack2012, the general idea is the following : it's an 'interactive' process, where roughly you act first in a parallel app. window (Autocad, Activity Monitor, Terminal, xforce2012), before going back in alternation each time to Crack2012 window to click OK.

cucaracho (2011-12-20)

Hi. I have done all the steps for cracking the program but after I get the Successful message I click OK on CRACK2012 and it displays "Can't get end". XForce does not gives me a Code to input. The last lines I get are"
inputeading symbols for shared libraries . done
Reading symbols for shared libraries ........ done
Reading symbols for shared libraries . done
Reading symbols for shared libraries . done
Reading symbols for shared libraries . done
Reading symbols for shared libraries . done
Breakpoint 1, 0x000032c2 in doMemPatch ()
(gdb) set $eax=0x06800000
(gdb) c
Continuing.

macomaniac (2011-12-20)

Hi cucaracho!
In case I am right supposing your "successful message" corresponds to step 7 of the instructions using Crack2012, i.e. that "patching was successful", you have to click OK in a row FIRST in xforce2012 window, THEN in Crack2012 window, to follow with step 8.
Step 8 : do go back to Autocad registration window (that makes a lot of windows on your desktop lol), find what corresponds to the "request code" and type it in xforce2012 window. I kind of remember (my installation goes back to more than a month back now) it's a bit tricky to type straightly that code in xforce2012 window. When exactly done, clicking now on "generate" should create an activation code in xforce2012 window, you have but to copy and paste back in Autocad registration window (a shorter code than awaited, but it works nevertheless). Then click "next", and better than clicking straightly "finish", ask the computer to "restart", and then click "finish" in Autocad window to unblock the restarting. You should be OK at launching at last Autocad after the restarting.

cucaracho (2011-12-20)

Thank you Macomaniac! Everything worked as expected. I somehow misunderstood the instructions and was not inputing the activation code given by Autocad into Xforce.
Is it necessary to use LittleSnitch to prevent Autocad from communicating with Autodesk?
What happens if I don't use it?

macomaniac (2011-12-21)

Glad to hear you were successful, cucaracho. As for denying (via LittleSnitch) Autocad cracked app to calling home as a permanent rule, once the activation achieved, I figure out that a "principle of caution", considering the strong defenses against pirating of such an expensive application. Nothing more explicit than that, for I am but a user trying to help here.

nilsepils94 (2011-12-23)

The X-Force keygen gives an activation code with 2 blocks opened, so I still need 8 characters... It isn't activating, and I only have 1 day of trial left! :O WHAT TO DO? :| I'm seriously stuck, and normally I can fix everything myself but this, this is too hard, I don't know what I do wrong?

macomaniac (2011-12-23)

Hi nilsepils94!
If you followed the instructions exactly through each step down to last step 8 (generation of an activation code by xforce2012), then, once you have typed straightly in xforce2012 window the request code found in Autocad registration window (a bit tricky to do that properly), and clicked on "generate", DON'T WORRY IF THE ACTIVATION CODE GENERATED BY XFORCE2012 IS ACTUALLY SHORTER THAN AWAITED. Just copy and paste it back into Autocad registration window (2 blocks left blank of characters), before clicking "Next", then asking for your computer to restart, and clicking then "Finish" in Autocad window to unblock the restarting. Once done, you should be OK at launching the app. At least, it worked without problem for myself that way.

a.chimpur (2011-12-24)

I installed the app, launched it as per instructions with the net off. The icon bounces in the dock, a loading screen appears and then it crashes. Time after time.

macomaniac (2011-12-24)

Hi a.chimpur!
The fact the app. begins to launch showing the logo "Autocad 2012 for Mac" is the proof it has been activated. Its crashing leads me to figure out the trouble might come from the actual characteristics of your Mac. Here are the system requirements regarding Autocad 2012 edition for Mac :
- Apple® Mac® Pro 4,1 or later; MacBook® Pro 5,1 or later (MacBook Pro 6,1 or later recommended); iMac® 8,1 or later (iMac 11,1 or later recommended); Mac® mini 3,1 or later (Mac mini 4,1 or later recommended); MacBook Air® 2,1 or later; MacBook® 5,1 or later (MacBook 7,1 or later recommended)
- Mac OS® X v10.6.4 or later; 64-bit Intel® processor
- 3 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended)
- 2.5 GB free disk space for download and installation (3 GB recommended)
- All graphics cards on supported hardware
- 1,280 x 800 display with true color (1,600 x 1,200 with true color recommended)
- All Mac OS X supported language operating systems Apple® Mouse, Apple Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, MacBook® Pro trackpad, or Microsoft®-compliant mouse.
- Mac OS X-compliant printer
Do check, supposing you are running Snow Leopard 10.6.4 at least, if your RAM is at least 3 GB, and if you are using 64 bits mode kernel at start instead of 32 bits (get infos "about this Mac" in the Apple menu, more infos, system report, click on 1) "hardware", and check (9th line) the RAM level ; then click on 2) "software", and check if penultimate line reads : kernel and extensions 64 bits = yes. If your mac doesn't support 64 bits mode, you are done (sorry). If it does, re-start in 64 bits mode (pressing keys "6" and "4") and try to launch Autocad again.

a.chimpur (2011-12-24)

I have a brand new 15" MacBook Pro! It should be more than enough to run this.

macomaniac (2011-12-26)

@a.chimpur
If your Mac runs in 64 bits kernel as needed, here is another tip : softwares that do not install as 'bare applications' in your Applications folder, bearing the extension ".app" after their name, like "Safari.app" or "Growl.app", but that are contained into a folder not bearing the extension ".app" after its name (like application "Autocad" into folder "Autodesk") are sensitive to any modification of the folder native title. Do check if the folder containing application Autocad is untitled straightly "Autodesk" and nothing else ; if not, the app will just keep on quitting on launch.

buildoneday (2011-12-27)

Hi Guys,
I need help! I followed steps 1 to 8 but when I enter new activation code generated by Xforce I get message from Autodesk for an invalid act.code.
Please help me!

macomaniac (2011-12-28)

Hi buildoneday!
If you received, at step 7, the message that "patching was successfull" and clicked afterward "OK" in both windows of xforce2012 and Crack2012, then you are OK for finishing successfully the activation of Autocad.
Step 8 : do go back to Autocad registration window, find the "Request Code" and TYPE IT straightly into xforce2012 window. Be careful to do that exactly, erasing the message of welcome shown previously in that window, so that none other character than the Request Code is written down in xforce2012 window. Once done, clicking on "Generate' will create a fair activation code you have but to copy and paste back in Autocad registration window. The fact that code is shorter than awaited, leaving several blocks blank of characters is nothing to worry about, if the patching was successful. Once the code pasted, just click "Next" in Autocad window, after what better ask the computer to restart, and then click "Finish" in Autocad window to unblock the restarting. You should be OK at launching the app. after the restarting.

mybobora (2012-01-02)

i'm stuck on step 5. I don't have password for my admin account so i just hit enter end it says wrong password try again? i hit enter again and i get sorry try again. try again then i get 3 incorrect password attempts. nothing works after this step. i also tried making a password for my account but still same result? Doesn't want to work after many attempts. Moving on to the next steps does nothing and I get (Not admin, wrong version or custom error) in xforce2012 after hitting mem patch button?

mybobora (2012-01-02)

I finally got it to work. If password doesn't take check to see if Xcode app is open. Then it should work or start over from scratch and always make sure Xcode is open.

manh2244 (2012-01-22)

i am running windows 7 and am attempting to install this on a friend's computer - he has a newer mac desktop. is this possible, using a program like VNC?
also, huge favor to ask...could someone possibly dumb down step #8?

macomaniac (2012-01-26)

Hi mybobora!
Make sure you have an administrator account on your Mac, with a password. When you type said password into Terminal window, do know none character is showing. Don't forget to click 'Enter' after that, if you want the Terminal to be activated, and after that to click 'OK' in 'Crack2012' window. If proceeding thus, you should normally accede to step 6 without trouble.

macomaniac (2012-01-26)

Hi manh2244!
I am no Windows user, but if your PC is able to take the control of your friend's Mac desktop through the app. you quote, like a Mac is able to do so when the 'screen sharing' is allowed between two Macs, then, supposing this .dmg file downloaded on your friend's desktop, I guess you might mount it and install it following the instructions. Make sure the 'screen sharing', and eventually the 'remote session' and 'remote management' are activated in the menu 'sharing' of the 'System Preferences' of your friend's Mac, to allow a remote control from your computer. But the simplest would be to use their Mac, if you dwell in the same area.
I cannot help you to 'dumbing down' step 8. I have to acknowledge personally I found a bit of a delightful challenge to follow the meandering path of the instructions (lol)!

laag86 (2012-01-29)

HELP! I type in my password and it says the legend: "Not admin, wrong version or custom error" does anyone know what I can do? Thanks

laag86 (2012-01-29)

HELP! After generationg the activation code and clicking on Meme Patch, it asks for my password, and it shows the legend "Not admin, wrong version or custom error" Sometimes i get no legend and it just keeps on thinking and does nothing, if I click on OK it says it is patched. I put the activation code on the AutoCad and I get an error
Thanks

macomaniac (2012-01-30)

Hi Laag86!
If I am right supposing you get into troubles in the step 5 to 7 area of the instructions, let me suggest the following :
1) make sure you have an administrator account on your Mac, first, with a password.
2) If that's so, at step 5 do type said password into Terminal window (no character is showing when you write) and click 'Enter' to activate the Terminal. Once done, don't pay any attention to the content of the lines which appear in the Terminal window. When they stop, just click 'OK' in 'Crack2012'.
3) Don't pay any attention again to the new lines running in the Terminal, as starting point of step 6. If 'xforce2012' is launched, you are rid of step 5 and good for going on into step 6. Just follow the instructions carefully : click on the 'MemPatch' button, let run new lines into Terminal without paying attention to their content, and when they stop, click 'OK' in 'Crack2012'. If exactly done, you are good for step 7.
4) Just let flow new lines into Terminal without paying attention to their content. If you receive both from 'xforce2012' and from 'Crack2012' the two messages that 'patching was successful', then do click 'OK' first in 'xforce2012' message, then in 'Crack2012' one.
At that point you should normally be OK with going on into step 8, the last one, but, as Rudyard Kipling always said : «That's another story'» (lol)!

gigatouch (2012-02-03)

It doesn't work for me, i'm on Lion 10.7.3, I followed all the steps and looked at all the advices but it still doesn't want to work! Every time i've got the message: "not admin, wrong version or custom error" from xforce despite the little script to guide tell me that all is successful... I can't fix the problem this time, please help !
(i'm on a Admin session, it's the only one on my computer)

jbeta58 (2012-02-04)

Hi macomaniac.
I'm trying to install it but i'm having some troubles.
I've finished step 4 without problems.
When i go for step 5 i type an administrator password (i know it's a valid password because that's the password i use to install programs in my mac) and then i click ok in Crack2012.
After that appears the "xforce2012" window and i clic MemPatch, then appear a xforce2012 window which says Error: "Not admin, wrong version or custom error" and also appear the Crack2012 window that says that Product has been Patched... I click ok in the xforce2012 window and then in the crack2012 window and then a new Crack2012 window appears that says: "No pudo obtenerse end" (that's spanish for: It couldn't reach an end). I click ok to that window and nothing happens, the xforce terminal window says "Continuing." but it does nothing. Then i try to copy the request code and generate the Activation Code and i use it in Autocad licensing window but it doesn't work. Hope any of you guys can HELP!!!! Thanks in advance.

gigatouch (2012-02-04)

Finally it worked !! Just a few tricks :
-Be careful to lunch the script "Crack2012" Before lunching Autocad or when you see the window with Activcate/Try. NOT AFTER or it WON'T WORK!!
-When it doesn't work one time especially with xforce don't try again and again, Remove entirely Autocad and re-install it again (yes it will take you days ^^)
-Extract the crack2012 and xforce2012, put it in you home folder. Maybe it's luck but it worked for me when I put it in this folder...
-As macomaniac said restart your computer when you finally see the congrats screen of Autocad.
Thank's to all the people who participated it this crack. You are geniuses ! :)

macomaniac (2012-02-05)

Hi jbeta58!
Odd thing is, unlike earlier downloaders and installers like myself, you and other unknown friends here (gigatouch e.g.) seem to encounter a problem getting the message: "not admin, wrong version or custom error" at step 5, when having to write your user's password into Terminal.
I can't figure out exactly from what comes that mess, but
- 1) first take a breath and keep Zen (lol). If you are ABLE to crack this app. following the meandrous instructions given here, NEVER you will be in trouble later with any other one. Good exercise of patience, meticulosity and smartness. What one single person has been able to perform once, another one is able to do it again.
2) I think you (and others) might capitalize on gigatouch's latest post, for he stated the same problem at writing password in Terminal window in step 5, and was able to succeed taking back the process FROM THE START.
Sooo! If he doesn't mind, let me elaborate a bit... The trick seems to make a complete FRESH CLEAN INSTALLATION of the app. To perform that, don't flinch at removing any AutoCAD files from your computer! Which means, not only the black folder 'Autodesk' from your 'Applications' folder, but also any other files related to AutoCAD. Here is the list : A) in the /Users/M.X = your user name/Library - a) In 'Application Support' folder, remove folder 'Autodesk' ; b) remove folder 'Autodesk' (from the Library) ; c) In folder 'Caches', remove 'com.autodesk.AutoCAD' and 'com.autodesk.Imu' files ; d) in folder 'Preferences', remove in a row any file beginning with 'com.autodesk.AutoCAD' and with 'com.autodesk.MCR or .MC3'. Now B) in the /Users/M.X = your user name/Documents, remove folder 'Autodesk'. And finally C) in System/Library, a) in folder 'Application support', remove folder 'Autodesk' ; b) remove folder 'Autodesk' (from the Library).
After that 'Seppuku'-like performance, if you are running Lion, go to the AppleStore, in 'Categories' choose 'Developers', and ask for the installation of Xcode 4.2.1 (it's free). An 'Install.Xcode.app' will be installed in your 'Applications' folder, you have next to launch in order to install 'XCode' latest version. Relaunch your computer. Once done, if you didn't keep on your desktop the 'Autocad 2012' folder you downloaded form ThePirateBay at start, do like gigatouch and download again the folder! Copy that folder into the 'Users' folder of Lion, inside the 'Shared' sub-folder.
Why? Not to encounter 'Password denial' at step 5 of the instructions, I advise you to activate the 'SuperAdministrator' (or 'Root') session of your computer. Be extremely careful when using it, the 'Root User' has ANY RIGHT on your computer, for he commands the roots of your system. Never use that session as a regular user one, for, in case of a false command, you are able to damage your OS. It's the equivalent of the 'Sudo chmod' command in the Terminal.
Procedure to activate the 'Root' session :
- a) go to Apple Menu, System Preferences, 'Users and Groups' (line 4) ;
- b) click on the padlock and authenticate you with your administrator password ;
- c) Click on 'Options' (little house) and click on the 'JOIN' button ;
- d) in the window which opens, click on 'Open Directory Utility', and open padlock if needed ;
- e) Go to the Menu Bar of that app., open 'Edition', and choose 'Activate Root'. Write a Password when asked (I advise to use the SAME as your current Administrator one, not to forget it).
The 'Root' session is activated. Restart your computer. You will find aside your current 'User session' one, an icon saying 'Others'. Click on it, and write in the new window : User name = 'root' (without the quotation marks '..', just root) ; Password = the one you chose (hopefully the same of your current Admnistrator one). The Root session will be launched. Go to 'Finder', 'Preferences', 'General', and check 'Display these elements on desktop' = 'Hard Disks'. The icon of 'Lion' will appear on your desktop, allowing yo

macomaniac (2012-02-05)

[finish - sorry for the length] - allowing you to GO TO the 'Users' folder, and the 'Shared' sub-folder, where you find your 'Autocad' installation folder. You are ready for a fresh installation, profiting from the ABSOLUTE RIGHT POWER of the SuperAdministrator 'Root'.
Follow exactly the instructions. Be careful : never use the 'ROOT' session as current one. You are able to change anything in the logical architecture of your computer. An error is very fast to occur!

jbeta58 (2012-02-06)

Hi macomaniac.
You won't believe it!
I did Everything you said and it still shows me the message Error: "Not admin, wrong version or custom error".
I activated the root and logged in like it.
I think it could be that there's still a file in the computer after I make the clean uninstall of Autocad that doesn't let me do the new installation.
Or maybe the folder where I have to put the installation files and crack is the wrong one.
The files i downloaded from The Pirate Bay i put them in the \users\ shared folder. It looks like this:
shared folder\
AutoCAD 2012 MAC + crack\
acad2012osx.iso
Crack2012.dmg
info.txt
Then i mount the .iso and the .dmg from here and follow the instructions for installation.
What do you think?

macomaniac (2012-02-06)

Hi jbeta58!
I cannot sincerely figure out why that damned thing (= the message Error: "Not admin, wrong version or custom error") keeps on showing. Truly a 'pain in the ass'!
Would yo mind trying again the installation, with some variations (= experimental method)?
1) remove again all the 'Autocad' files I listed previously from your hard disk (lol).
2) once you have re-installed 'Autocad' in your 'Applications' folder, BEFORE launching the app. :
- a) create a 'New Rule' in Little Snitch (if you have not it installed, download it from ThePirate Bay), indicating the app. 'Autocad' in your 'Applications' folder as target, and denying any connection to any server as a permanent rule (can it be possible the app. phones home when launched, so that it becomes a source of trouble?) ;
- b) follow gigatouch's trick = launching 'Crack2012' BEFORE launching the app. 'Autocad'.
Does it work that way? If not, da cappo, you have to remove the files (lolol) again, restart the installation process, recreate a fresh rule in Little Snitch, relaunch 'Crack2012' BEFORE launching the app. 'Autocad, and this time, as he suggested, 'Extract the crack2012 and xforce2012, put it in you home folder. Maybe it's luck but it worked for me when I put it in this folder...'.
I wonder if the folder you downloaded, when unzipped, should have to be copied to the hard drive (i.e. located in the 'Applications' folder) before starting the installation process?
I repeat it : I don't understand what's wrong with that stuff. When I installed myself 'Autocad', on November the 11th of 2011, running Lion 10.7.2 on a MacBookPro (does the trouble come from Lion 10.7.3?), I didn't encounter that 'Message Error' problem. I kept the downloaded folder on my desktop, and the only trick I had to find was to restart the computer in the ending, to force the activation of 'Autocad' app.activate.

rikxta (2012-02-06)

Anyone can help me? I did everything right and I already activated but I cannot open the programm, all the time said NOT RESPONDING in Force Quit and close the application.

macomaniac (2012-02-07)

Hi rikxta!
That software is a heavy one, needing a lot of resources from the computer. So it's rather sluggish at launching, from my experience, until the blue grid-page of drawing is loaded. When you get the rectangular banner, saying 'AutoCAD 2012 for Mac' (the proof the program is activated), you have at bottom, on the left, a 'loading...' warning preceded by a little wheel. From my experience again, IF the wheel is turning, you have just to wait for the completion of the loading. IF the wheel appears jammed and frozen, the program is hedged in, and when checking 'Force Quit' in the Apple Menu, you can see 'AutoCAD' in red with the mention 'not responding'. No chance it will launch. You have but to 'force quit' the app. I experienced quite a lot of times that occurrence in the beginning, and I kept on forcing the app. to quit, restarting my computer, and trying to launch the app. again, until I had at last the little wheel running and the app. opening. Now, I never experience again any jam at launching. A very sensitive app., I have to state.

macomaniac (2012-02-07)

@jbeta58 (and others who unfortunately were confronted to the 'message Error: Not admin, wrong version or custom error').
I decided to install for a test Autocad on my wife's computer (MacBookPro running Lion 10.7.3 with XCode 4.2.1 installed, 4GB of RAM). I copied the folder downloaded from TPB to her desktop and proceeded following the instructions. I didn't disconnect from internet, nor use any LittleSnitch denial rule. I installed the app. in the Applications folder, and launched Crack 2012 before launching Autocad. I proceeded flawlessly along, without Message Error, but encountering a warning from Crack2012 like 'impossible to obtain end' at one moment, choosing to answer 'OK' without flinching ; typing carefully with one space between the series of characters the request code in Xforce window after having reduced to nothing the welcome message. After what I obtained a fair serial I pasted in Autocad registration window (two bottom lines of blocks blank of characters), which ended with a success message. A blue link in that window allows to read the license informations I saved as a document on the desktop (in case of...). Then, instead of clicking 'Finish', I shut all applications open but Autocad, tried to restart the computer, which wasn't possible on her laptop to the difference of mine, and decided to shut it off squarely before restarting it. When done, I launched Autocad without trouble, the product being considered as registered.
I was a bit disappointed (lol) not to encounter the 'Message Error', so I removed every files from the hard disk and tried hard to have it wrong :-). I finished at one moment by succeeding at it, when, instead of having Xforce launched automatically from Crack2012 action, I double-clicked on the icon of Xforce contained in the 'crack folder' to open it. When done, the 'Message Error' occured without escape. Lesson: don't launch Xforce by hand, let Crack2012 activate Xforce window!
That's all. Perhaps last hint : the window of Crack2012 does vanish every time you click 'OK' in it, just stays the script-icon of it bouncing in the dock. Just click on that to re-open each time needed Crack2012 window. Hoping that might help and sorry again for the length...

pedropunky (2012-02-12)

Hey macomaniac,
I managed to follow all the steps properly, but I can't manage to type my password in the terminal window (step 5). I keep clicking on the little grey square but nothing happens. Any suggestion on how to solve this one? Would be greatly appreciated thanks

macomaniac (2012-02-12)

Hi pedropunky!
Do know when you type your password into Terminal window, NO CHARACTER IS SHOWING ACTUALLY - that for security reasons. Sooo, when you are asked to type your password into Terminal window where written lines end with a blank rectangle, nothing will appear when you perform that command. Just write exactly your password without visible means to check it nor visible apparent effect, and after that HIT 'RETURN' KEY of the computer (= 'Enter' key) to activate the Terminal.

pedropunky (2012-02-12)

Thank you macomaniac for your prompt reply.
Unfortunately I've still got a problem on the very last step: I got the now infamous "Not admin, wrong version or custom error", which allowed me to pursue further with the xforce window (that says Autodesk products 2011??), but my activation code generated won't work. I don't really see which step I got wrong....

pedropunky (2012-02-12)

I ended up closing all the windows. Should I restart completely the whole installation? Uninstall maybe before using little snitch?

macomaniac (2012-02-13)

@pedropunky.
A) Having been able to install a few days ago AutoCAD on my wife's computer (for testing purpose) without disconnection from the Net nor Little Snitch denial rule, I guess that's not a necessary condition to a successful cracking, though something recommendable, in case of the app. 'phoning home'.
B) An aborted installation leaving a lot of 'wrong' files in the Library, it would be safer to remove them all before re-trying the whole process, in case the new installation, instead of re-writing said files or ignoring them, keeps the track of their path. But you can try the easier way first, but closing every windows and restarting the installation process, hoping for fresh file-making to work.
C) When it comes to the 'Message Error', as I was able to escape it through carefully following the steps of the instructions on my wife's computer, I guess the source has to be the involuntary oblivion of a required action at one step. Which one, I cannot say precisely, if something other than launching XForce by hand instead of letting its window automatically appear. So my advice would be not to focus on the result (successful installation of AutoCAD), but on each link of the process, asking to oneself : have I not missed something right now? [end part I lol]
D) Perhaps do prefer at start to launch Crack2012 BEFORE launching AutoCAD app. (= inversion of moments 5 and 6 in 'preamble'). That done,
step 1) = simple.
Step 2 = simple, don't forget to re-insert serial nor to click 'OK' in Crack2012.
Step 3) copy and paste the right PID in Crack2012 window (click on the bouncing script-icon of the dock to reopen it) and do click 'OK'.
4) Terminal stuff. You have to be kind of fast to find the good line (about the first third of the list) to copy the 8 characters needed and paste them into Crack 2012 Window (having to click again on the script-icon to reopen its window) before clicking 'OK'. If you are too slow, the allotted time for an Apple Script Event will be exceeded, and you will fail at that step. [end part I lol]

macomaniac (2012-02-13)

[beginning part II lol]
Step 5) Type exactly your password into Terminal window (no character showing) and hit 'Enter' key, let lines flow into Terminal window until cessation, then click on the script-icon bouncing in the dock to re-open Crack2012 window and click 'OK' there.
Are you sure to be 'OK' at such moment? If answer = YES, after lines flowing again into Terminal, XForce window HAS TO BE AUTOMATICALLY LAUNCHED, without any action from your part. If not, you failed. If so, do click on the 'MemPatch' button in XForce window, let flow lines in Terminal until cessation, and re-click on Script Icon bouncing in the dock to re-open Crack2012 window to click 'OK'.
Now, has the 'Message Error' shown or not? If = YES, you're done, having necessarily SKIPPED an action in the previous sequence. If = NO, you're good, and enter the blessed path (lol) of step 7).
Step 7) = last flowing of lines in Terminal, and successful messages from XForce and Crack2012. Do click OK first in Xforce. If Crack2012 is not automatically launched, do click on the scrip-icon of the dock again to re-open the window and click 'OK'.
Step 8). For my part, never was I able to use 'copy and paste' method here for the request code. But, instead, after reducing to nothing (the pointer vertical bar blinking alone without none character around) the welcome message in XForce window using the 'return' key in its function of erasing, I TYPED BY HAND every time I succeeded the loooong 'Request Code', with one blank space between each series of four characters, in XForce window, before clicking on 'generate'. When exactly done, a fair activation code appears, you have to copy and paste in AutoCAD registration window (two bottom lines of blocks blank of characters) and hit 'Next'.
Normally, you should obtain a 'success message' from AutoCAD. If = YES, don't click 'Finish' or you're done (my former experience). Try to re-start straightly your computer, after shutting (force-quit) every app. open but AutoCAD. If the re-starting begins, leaving 'AutoCAD' window open, do click 'Finish' then to complete the re-starting. If the re-starting is jammed, do shut down your computer pressing the 'Power' button. In any case, when relaunching your computer, AutoCAD should be activated and launchable.

Hi macomaniac! This torrent works great! I have a problem though. After trying out AC 2012, I uninstalled the product. After removal, my mac seems slow. Expose animation looks choppy. Running snow leopard 10.6.6 here. Can anyone help me?

pedropunky (2012-02-15)

Wow macomaniac. Thank you for taking the time to give a response to every noobs like me. Usually I manage to do so with other programs, but not with this one, I give up! Didn't work, the serial generated doesnt seem to work, although I meticulously followed your instructions. Running 10.7.2 on the latest and most powerful Imac.

macomaniac (2012-02-15)

Hi siner 55! [At least some other one claiming success at installing AutoCAD lol...]
I guess you used the 'Remove AutoCAD app.' software contained inside 'AutoCAD 2012' folder, folder belonging itself to the black 'Autodesk' folder installed in your 'Applications' folder?
I used it myself at start, on my wife's laptop, after successful installation, in order to try a 'wrong' new one and get the 'Message Error'. I have to state IT DOESN'T UNINSTALL THE WHOLE SET OF FILES from your Library, but merely the 'AutoCAD app.', leaving notably the 'Preferences' files in place.
I would recommend to REMOVE BY HAND the related files, both in the 'User's Library' and in the 'System Library'. I gave the list in an answer to jbeta58, end page 2. Once done, you should be back to your computer state before that exercice of installation, unless you acted something else in the meantime. Moreover, go to your 'Utilities' folder (in 'Applications' folder) and do use 'Disk Utility' to 'Repair Authorizations' (or 'Permissions') of the disk 'Snow Leopard'. I use that trick every morning, aside of other 'maintenance' methods, to keep my Mac in fair shape.
Just a question : why don't you update to Snow Leopard 10.6.8? - A very valuable OS as a whole, I have to state, compared to Lion.

macomaniac (2012-02-15)

@ pedropunky. Too bad! I suspect removing by hand every files from the Library is required to succeeding after an aborted try (:-) [Did I mentioned Sisyphus' work?]. Don't give thanks : I do like friendly gratuity.
If pirating apps. had to be such 'pain in the arse' as for this one, nobody (including myself) would give a damn about such stuff, but preferring to pay or abstain. Moreover, AutoCAD belongs to 'Gas Factory'-like apps., like Adobe software and others, that just tire out the mind to handle smoothly.
If needing AutoCAD nevertheless, may I give you a link to a far easier cracking method?
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6897690/MacOSX_AutoCAD_[2011]_-_FINAL_Verison

Be aware just AutoCAD 2011, in the folder of the same title, will work with the simple substitution of files pointed out. But no way AutoCAD 2012, contained in the homonymous folder, will be activated with such method. I have tried both installations, but 2011 one working.

pedropunky (2012-02-18)

Thank you for the Autocad 2011 link, but I don't wish to have this version, as many architects and students around me got back to me with a very negative feedback, which I experienced myself.

I can't write my password in the Terminal when I get to that step. It only gives me a "incorrect command. can't find the sudo command" or something similar. I tried it twice and manually removed all files and reinstalled AC2012. Anyone has an idea? pls help

@macomaniac
Thanks for all your effort! But I couldn't get it installed :(
I tried then to install Autocad 2011 using this torrent:
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6897690/MacOSX_AutoCAD_[2011]_-_FINAL_Verison

But it didn't work either! :( :( :(
I think there's a hidden file that keeps information of Autocad and doesn't let me crack the Autocad even after uninstalling and deleting all files and installing again!
What do you think I can do?

macomaniac (2012-02-23)

Hi moonxxxcastle!
When I check, in my 'User's Library', the files related to 'Autodesk' inside the 'Preferences' folder, I find no less than 8 files : 'com.autodesk.AutoCAD.plist', 'com.autodesk.AutoCAD.plist.lockfile',
'com.autodesk.AutoCAD.R18.1.ACAD-9031.409.plist',
'com.autodesk.AutoCAD.R18.1.ACAD-9031.409.plist.lockfile',
'com.autodesk.AutoCAD.R18.2.ACAD-A032.409.plist',
'com.autodesk.AutoCAD.R18.2.ACAD-A032.409.plist.lockfile',
'com.autodesk.MC3Framework.plist' and
'com.autodesk.MC3Framework.plist.lockfile'.
As you can see, a lot of instructions framing AutoCAD launching. If you don't find such series of files in your own 'User's Library Preferences folder', I guess that's because your process of installation aborted too soon for such files to be written. So, normally, after removing the few visible AutoDesk-related elements you can find in your two Libraries, you should be good for a fresh try at installing the app.
Now when you write : 'when the time came for terminal to ask for my password (step 5), it didn't show up at all. It threw me this:---', does that mean the Terminal which is already open (step 4) doesn't show a window asking for your password? I remember, on my successful installation on my wife's laptop (the most recent one), I have been facing several Terminal windows opened in parallel on the desktop. Could it be possible you missed to notice the one asking for the password, being hidden under others?
If that's not the case, the failure of a Terminal window showing which asks for password has to mean you SKIPPED a required action previously. Notably at step 4, one has to be kind of FAST finding the 8 characters in the huge series of lines in the Terminal, to copy and paste them in Crack2012. If not, the TIME allowed for an AppleScript Event to be executable might well be exceeded, ending in a failure of following commands. Or could it be possible you skipped to click 'OK' in Crack2012 when required? In any case, don't focus on what's written as a flow into Terminal, just stay in wait for a window asking for password to show.

macomaniac (2012-02-23)

Hi r43!
That's odd. A 'Sudo' command ('SuperUser DO') is not required for that action to be valid, or, if you work from the 'Root' session, it's automatic.
If you didn't skip any action previously to that step, make sure you don't 'type in the void' your password, having the right Terminal window selected as forefront open field on the desktop. Then, if typing correctly your password (none character showing for security reasons - if not, one looking at the history of Terminal events on your computer could learn your administrator password, is using your open session by chance), and clicking 'Enter' (= 'Return') key after that, you should normally activate the Terminal command.

moonxxxcastle (2012-02-23)

@macomaniac
Thank you for your response! There's a couple of odd things. I have checked for the preference files and can't find them, I checked for them after normal installation of autocad and they are not there. Could they be hidden? Previously, I had used the remove autocad utility, but the last time I decided to not use it and remove all the files, but still I had the same result. Also, when the password step is prompted, according to your guide, I still get the error messages in Terminal. Is it looking for a User/lol folder that I'm missing? Or is gib a different program? I can't figure this out! Thank you for your help!

macomaniac (2012-02-24)

@moonxxxcastle.
From my experience, 'Preferences' files are always openly visible .plist files in the 'Preferences' folder. If you cannot find any Autodesk-related .plist files in your User's Library 'Preferences' folder, that means they don't exist. Which reads : if 'AutoCAD' is 'in place' in your 'Applications' folder, its installation is unfinished, for the app., not activated, has never been launched actually.
I have tried the 'Remove AutoCAD app.' for a test, after successful installation on my wife's computer. When looking at the trash, you see but 'AutoCAD app.' without none related-files which stay in place on the hard-drive. Very poor tool to removing an app.!
Last point : Have you been able to type your password in a Terminal window asking actually for it? If the 'Message Error' you got notification of is the well known 'Infamous' one saying 'Not admin, wrong version or custom error', I'm afraid you are confronted, as a lot of pals previously, to an issue the exact reason of which has not yet been exactly deciphered.

macomaniac (2012-02-24)

@jbeta58. For some reason, I get repetitively a 'DataBase Error' message when trying to submit the answer I had written for you. Wait and see!

moonxxxcastle (2012-02-25)

@macomaniac
Hey! Yes! When I installed the crack first, without being in root mode, I got all the steps and then I would get the error from the memgen. When I try it in root, I don't get the terminal window asking for a password at all. Autocad can't launch without being activated, right? So how can it make pref files? I still don't get them. Both of the disk images are in the shared folder when I log as root, should I try something else?

macomaniac (2012-02-26)

@moonxxxcastle.
No doubt this torrent has something of a 'mind-provoking' problem. For, beyond the personal challenge to following the meandrous cracking process without skipping any required action, it brings into light, I figure out, the singleness of each computer. My wife and myself, e.g., have both same new 'MacBookPro' laptops running Lion 10.7.3 now, but hers' Directory is actually an odd thing compared to mine's. Even if I managed to install AutoCAD on her laptop, too, though having to face unexpected behavior of the Terminal, could a Directory repair supply a facility to installing this app., I wonder? Here is a link to a great tool at that :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7044319/DiskWarrior_v.4.4_Boot_Disk_[K[racked_(fixed)

Once downloaded, burn the file to a DVD using DiskUtility and restart the computer pressing the 'Alt' key. You are able to boot from DiskWarrior and ask for Directory Repair (impossible if the app. is on the Start-Up disk).
In 'other' news, yes, AutoCAD can't launch if not activated. And I suspect such activation is required for preferences files to be written, I mean 'Default' ones as starting point, before any personal modification using the app. As for the 'Root' session, you can copy AutoCAD and Crack files (inside a same folder) to the desktop, in order to see is that helps to get the Terminal launched. SuperUser 'Root' is both powerful, and not a real 'User' of the computer, that's the hassle. On the other hand, when going down to the 'Message Error' on your current User's session, I suspect now the cracking method given here (the most complex I encountered ever at TPB) to be an absolute RIGID one. The slightest 'error of conduct' at any step leading to failure, even 'sloth error' when having to pick up the HEX numbers in Terminal window. I suspect, too, Crack2012 to use 'Absolute Paths' in lack of which it works wrongly.

macomaniac (2012-02-26)

Hi jbeta58!
Sorry for the delay. Be careful not to leave an 'AutoDesk' folder (the 2012 one) in your 'Applications' folder, having AutoCAD 2011 installing some 'AutoDesk-1' folder, e.g. This app. seams sensitive to being contained into a generic folder straightly entitled 'AutoDesk' and nothing else.
If the app., once the replacement of .plist file performed, cannot launch, could it be that your computer hardware doesn't match the requirements of AutoCAD? If you are short of RAM, e.g., no chance it will ever launch.

mamores (2012-02-27)

Hello Guys i have problem with the installation process. in the step 5, in the terminal i put my password and the following words told me that---sudo: gdb: command not found---and nothing more so What i have to do after that? or what means?

Cloudstrider (2012-03-01)

Hi Guys,
I've the same problem in Step 5.
"sudo: gdb: command not found"
As long as I understand - maybe the terminal was not able to open the "xforce2012"?? If I open it manual, thoose quarantaine message appears - which needs a confirm-click.
I tryed to supress this message the last two hours on may different ways but I was'nt able to do so.
Also i copied the to the application folder and modified this open command in terminal to the application folder - but the same result.
Any suggestions? Many Thanks and best Regs from Germany!

Squid66 (2012-03-02)

I'm getting similar problems as others have reported.
I've seen in another forum that XCODE 4.3 behaves differently from XCODE4.2 and that (for that crack activity) XCODE4.2 is needed. Could it be that using XCODE4.3 is causing the problem?

macomaniac (2012-03-02)

Hi guys!
'Gdb' stands for 'GNU DeBugger', a program used notably to state in the Terminal what has been freezing some operation off working. Here 'Sudo: gdb' seems to mean that the 'DeBugger' of 'SuperUser Root' capacity to 'DO' something has to state : the 'command' = 'write Administrator's password into Terminal and Log in' was not found.
Supposing you didn't make mistake when typing your password nor forget to hit 'Enter' to activate the command ; and taking for granted 'XCode' is installed on your HardDrive (if not, Crack2012 couldn't have launch) ; then the supposition of Squid66 might well be aiming toward the right target.
I don't know if XCode 4.3 (for Lion 10.7.3) is at fault alone, for people have previously reported bugs while that version was not yet released. But they might have been using 'BETA' versions of previous 'XCode' as well, inducing bugs in the working of apps. depending on it. Any way, an obvious possibility to explain so many issues with the cracking method is , indeed, a version of 'XCode' not working fairly with the apps. involved in the process.

Cloudstrider (2012-03-03)

Ok, understood so far, but how i can get Xcode 4.2 now or can downgrade the actual 4.3?
Thanks very much!!

macomaniac (2012-03-04)

Hi pals!
I have to report successes, two kinds of them :
1) 'negative' success. I was very eager to experience the 'sudo: gdb: command not found', and I finally managed to earn it in the following way : on a Snow Leopard disk, I installed a 3.2.5 version of XCode. When trying afterward to crack AutoCAD according to the instructions, the 'sudo: gdb: command not found' popped up without escape in the Terminal after I wrote the password. Any time I tried restarting the cracking process from the beginning. If trying to jump through in spite of that clicking OK in Crack2012, then I was 'happy' to encounter the infamous 'Message Error' later 'Not admin, wrong version or custom error'. No possibility of activating the app. in those conditions.
2) positive success. I was able to activate AutoCAD both on a Snow Leopard Disk and on a Lion Disk.
a) Snow Leopard. It's a Snow Leopard SERVER 10.6.8 OS, run as guest Virtual Machine (through Parallels Desktop) on Lion 10.7.3 host (RAM 8 GB). I installed on that Snow Leopard virtual disk this version of XCode :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6721955/Xcode_4.2_iOS_SDK_5_(Snow_Leopard)___iMZDL.com

When using the cracking process with that version of XCode, none 'sudo: gdb: command not found' nor infamous 'Not admin, wrong version or custom error'. Just the stuff of having to be punctilious to following the instructions, and successful activation in the end.
b) Lion. It's a bootable partition of an external HardDrive on which is installed a Lion 10.7.3 OS captured from a torrent at TPB. I installed on that disk this version of XCode :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6721791/Xcode_4.2_iOS_SDK_5_(Lion)___iMZDL.com

Same statement as with the previous experimentation with Snow Leopard : no bugs, and successful activation in the end.

macomaniac (2012-03-04)

[Add. = interpretation]
An hypothesis very likely to be true is the following : if you try to run Crack2012 and X-Force as well in connection to a version of XCode either INFERIOR TO 4.0 or SUPERIOR TO 4.2, you are doomed to failure, through encountering the bugs stated in previous comments. The 'GOOD' version of XCode is the one which is installed, OUT OF THE APPLICATIONS FOLDER, in an INDEPENDENT FOLDER STRAIGHTLY ENTITLED : 'DEVELOPER'. 4.3 version of XCode which is installed in the Applications folder under the name of 'Xcode.app', or old 3-etc versions of Xcode installed as 'Xcode 3.2.5' e.g., will not work. Seems that Crack2012 & X-Force demand the 'DEVELOPER VERSION OF XCODE'.
@Cloudstrider. Guten Tag! An easy trick : Drag to the trash your 4.3 folder of 'Xcode.app' contained in your Applications folder (without suppressing it!). Download the 4.2 version for Lion I gave the link to above, and install it as a 'Developer' folder outside the 'Applications' folder. The position of the 4.3 Xcode in the trash will 'freeze' its use, so that Crack2012 and X-force are likely to connect with the available Xcode = the 'Developer' = the 'right' application. After success to cracking AutoCAD, just drag back 4.3 'Xcode.app' from trash to 'Applications' folder.
When following the steps using the 'right' Xcode (one of the two I gave the link to, according to your OS, Snow Leopard or Lion), don't flinch in front of 'nasty looking' lines flowing in the Terminal, like : 'Cannot find object file' and other 'no debug available'. All is WELL! If at one moment pops up the window : 'Impossible to obtain END', just click 'OK' in Crack2012 without flinching, and go ahead! Be careful but not to miss any link in the process. Don't forget to input the REQUEST code before hitting 'generate', e.g.
Four last hints : 1) After having installed the 'right' Xcode, DO RESTART your computer ; 2) In each experience (SL and Lion), I did disconnect from Internet before launching AutoCAD just installed in the Applications folder in the black folder 'AutoDesk' ; 3) Each time, I launched Crack2012 and clicked 'I Wanna crack AutoCAD' BEFORE LAUNCHING AUTOCAD showing the window giving the choice to 'activate' or 'try' etc. ; 4) Each time in the end, when receiving the message 'Activation was successful', I chose to click 'Finish' in AutoCAD window to the difference of my very early experiences. No problem, no bug : the window vanishes. To use some caution after that : I closed any active app. (Force Quit) and asked the computer to restart. After what, AutoCAD in both cases is activated, launches without difficulty and is considered as registered with 'License Expiration Date = NONE'.

Squid66 (2012-03-06)

Great news @macomaniac. I'll try out your solution.
But before I do, can you explain how to put a version of XCODE in a Developer folder?
Although I installed XCODE4.3 I do not have a /dev folder. How can I create the folder I need, and get the old XCODE installed and running in that folder.
(Mac newbie).

macomaniac (2012-03-06)

Hi squid66!
Sorry if my elaboration was a bit confusing. You have not to create a 'Developer Folder', it's Xcode installer for the versions I gave the link to that instals Xcode into a folder entitled 'DEVELOPER' outside the Applications folder. To the difference of Xcode 4.3 installer which instals Xcode inside the Applications folder as 'Xcode.app'.
So : just download and instal 'Xcode 4.2', after the 'trash neutralization' of the 'Xcode.app' (4.3), and you should have, aside the folders 'Applications', 'Library', 'Downloads', 'Shared', 'Groups', 'System', 'Users' (etc.), the folder 'DEVELOPER' containing Xcode 4.2 in evidence. After restarting your computer, you should be all right for trying to crack AutoCAD.

cumcatano (2012-03-10)

I left the trial expires! I tried to put the crack but now don't stay active how can I fix it? Thks!

Squid66 (2012-03-10)

Good stuff macomaniac. The XCode 4.2 gets me past that gdb error after password entry.
But now I get:
Password:
GNU gdb 6.3.50-20050815 (Apple version gdb-1708) (Mon Aug 8 20:32:45 UTC 2011)

and it stops.
Now I am running the install off a DVD pre-prepared by others with the name "Autocad 2012 and the Crack is in a subdirectory Autocad 2012/Crack/
Other have said the crack is hard coded to the directory. So do I need to burn a new DVD with a volume name "Autodesk Crack" and the Crack2012 and XForce2012 (renamed to xforce?)etc in the root directory.
Sorry I am a Mac Newbie after 30 years of Windows.

macomaniac (2012-03-10)

@cumcatano.
If you didn't save the AutoCAD file you downloaded from TPB first, better for you to download AutoCAD again. After what, once deleted the folder 'Autodesk' contained in your 'Applications' folder, and the related files in your Libraries, you can make a fresh installation of AutoCAD which will give you a new trial gap.

macomaniac (2012-03-10)

Hi Squid66!
Your Terminal talks a lot (lol) about the 'GNU Debugger' program! What I feel suspect is the last sentence : «File '/Volumes/Autodesk
Crack/xforce2012.app/Contents/MacOS/x-force'
does not exist or is not a regular file». Seems Crack2012 cannot find the path to launch 'XForce', which explains why the Terminal is so gabby about stuff beside the point (gdb specifications), just to fill the gap (I'm kidding!)...
I suspect 'Crack2012' to use ABSOLUTE PATHS regarding 'XForce'. So my advice would be not to try to crack AutoCAD from a DVD where replacements of files have likely occurred, but to have the folder as downloaded from TPB right on the computer desktop. At least the DiskImage 'Crack2012.dmg', showing, when mounted, 'Autocad Instructions.txt', 'Crack2012.app', Mudbox Instructions.rtf' and 'xforce2012.app' inside the folder 'Autodesk Crack'. And to operate after launching 'Crack2012' right from the inside of said mounted folder, without any displacement of elements, keeping this app. in close neighboring to 'XForce' app.
'XForce' has absolutely to be launched automatically from 'Crack2012' action after step 5 completed. If you launch 'XForce' by hand, you fail. If 'XForce' doesn't launch automatically, you fail.

cumcatano (2012-03-10)

@macomaniac
I tryed, but the trial continue expired and don't accept the crack registration.
I cleaned all "autodesk" files on this directories:
applictions
/library
/library/application suport
~/library/application suport

macomaniac (2012-03-11)

@cumcatano. You can try the following 'cross-test' :
- delete folder 'AutoDesk' (in 'Applications' folder) ; in System 'Library' folder, delete 'AutoDesk' sub-folder in 'Applications Support', and 'Autodesk' folder.
- create (Apple menu, System Preferences, Users & Groups, unlock the padlock to click on '+') a new account with 'Administrator Privileges'.
- copy the original file downloaded from TPB to your HardDisk (into 'Shared' folder, or aside System folders like 'Applications', 'Library' etc.
- Restart your computer and launch the session of your new Administrator Account. Then go to your AutoCAD file on your HardDrive and try to instal the app.
Do you get a new time allocation for 30 days Trial as this new 'Administrator User' of your computer? If = YES, the file to be incriminated lies into your current User's '∾Library'. If = NO, the riddle is more tricky.

cumcatano (2012-03-11)

@macomaniac
If = NO! :(
I created another administrator but the trial has expired too.

sojezah (2012-03-12)

@macomaniac
Success! AutoCad installed on iMac and working perfectly...thanks Macomaniac for your all your advice.
Wondering if you know how to set "Little Snitch" to allow printing wirelessly? Have tried allowing access to local networks and keep getting "Brother printer configuration cannot be used".
Any ideas?

macomaniac (2012-03-12)

@cumcatano.
Normally, I try my best not to give advices digging under the surface of casual friendly use of a Mac. Ach so! Let's scratch lightly the rule.
I propose you use the 'Finder' function to search application-related files in order to delete them.
Taking for granted in your case AutoCAD is not running, launch the 'Finder' FROM THE DOCK.
In the 'search' field (upper right corner), write 'autodesk' (without quotation marks) and click on the '+ sign' (under the search field) to add additional criteria.
Open pop-up menu 'Kind' (or 'Type' - upper left band, just above the window showing numerous related files), and choose : 'OTHER'.
Pops up a window showing a list of 'Attributes'. Go to 'SYSTEM FILES', select that line and click 'OK'. Return of previous Finder window, showing now 'System files' in place of the button 'Kind' (or 'Type').
Open the pop-up menu just on the right, entitled 'are not included'. Do click 'ARE INCLUDED'.
The Finder window now shows the sum of files both 'Self-Contained' into 'AutoDesk Bundle', and scattered as 'related files' off 'AutoDesk Bundle' into various folders of your 'Mac Library' and your 'User's ∾Library'.
Do check the list, to be sure the files concern 'AutoCAD app.' the icon of which has to appear in its alphabetical place. Select ALL FILES, drag them to the TRASH and DELETE them. Restart your computer.
If re-installing after that 'AutoDesk' black folder right from the TPB file and starting the cracking process, do you get a fresh '30 days time trial' when launching 'AutoCAD'?

@macomaniac
hi...sorted the printing issue, "little snitch" not blocking after all. Thanks again, anyway.

hi guys
I have a problem in step 4, I can not find "libFNP.dylib" help me .....thanks.

macomaniac (2012-03-13)

Hi sojezah!
Glad to hear you were successful [at least, some other one claiming success lol...]!
As you figured out by yourself, LittleSnitch can forbid apps installed on your hard-drive from phoning home when running, but has no interference on printing problematic, the settings of which work independently.

macomaniac (2012-03-13)

Welcome to 'Terminal-pleasure', carmine80 (lol).
Just enlarge a bit the Terminal window showing a flow of lines (several Terminal windows are opened together), and set the cursor of the vertical 'Scrolling Bar' (right of the window) around the first THIRD of the list of lines.
Let scroll gently the lines, in search of a series of 'four' (according to my memory) 'libFNP.dylib' ending ones. The right one begins with 'TEXT' (in capital letters). Select and copy the EIGHT first characters of the 16 HEX 'numbers', before pasting them in Crack2012.

carmine80 (2012-03-13)

SORRY MACOMANIAC , I CAN NOT FIND "libFNP.dylib". I did as you told me, but I found something like "/ lib / dylib /" I do not see written anywhere "... FNP ..." I tried to enter, however, the first set of numbers, but when it asks me to enter my password in TERMINAL I can not write it. thanks again
P.S. I have MACBOOK PRO LION -13"

Thanks for your post, I almost succeeded, but at the very end it appeared, that the program is activated, but when I pushed Finnish button it turned back to Activate..... any clue? It drives me crazy, thanks.

macomaniac (2012-03-14)

Hi swamimaj1975!
Ha ! Your issue reminds me of my very earlier trouble to successfully passing through the last final action : clicking 'Finish' and having AutoCAD really activated, instead of the starting window asking for activation reloaded...
Having, as I am concerned, managed to activate AutoCAD at least TEN times on various Mac computers and/or OS-Disks, I have to state NEVER was I able to follow a straight identical rule when facing the 'Finish' button. In the beginning, it worked for me to 'force-restart' my laptop (without clicking on 'Finish'), so that a grey screen was showing with AutoCAD window still freezing the process. When clicking THEN on 'Finish', the re-starting process w

macomaniac (2012-03-14)

[Pfui! Don't know why, I keep on hitting the 'submit button' involuntarily]. On my wife's MacBookPro, impossible to have the computer restarting with AutoCAD window opened. This time, I straightly pressed the 'Power Button' to switch off the computer, and when relaunching it, I was happy to have AutoCAD activated. On Virtual Machines or bootable external Hard-Drives, just hitting 'Finish' in AutoCAD window was enough to achieve the activation, without trouble, on the contrary.
As you can see, empirical groping without straight rule. In your case, if you failed when hitting 'Finish' in AutoCAD window, would you mind trying the 'Force-Restart' method if you get enough patience in store still to re-execute again the cracking process from the start?

swamimaj1975 (2012-03-14)

@macomaniac
Thanks! It worked! Come over for drink, I'll pay,)))

swamimaj1975 (2012-03-14)

@macomaniac
Ok, success on Lion, but no luck on Snow Leopard. There was acd previously installed and cracked but it stopped to work. Now when I install acd again it wont even start. It looks like it's opening but then it just ends. Any idea?

macomaniac (2012-03-15)

@swamimaj1975.
Glad to read you were successful - on Lion, at least.
As for your issue with Snow Leopard, what are, roughly speaking, its specifications (10.6.6? 10.6.8? Client or Server version?) and the ones of the hardware supporting it (Computer RAM notably)? AutoCAD is not only kind of a 'Gas Factory' (lol) but one heavy application that weighs hard on computer resources.

swamimaj1975 (2012-03-15)

@macomaniac
Hi there, its client 10.6.8, problem is, that there was acd installed before with previous 2012 crack but it stopped to work suddenly. I've removed everything connected with previously installed acd, I've installed fresh acd, everything goes fine, it's opening in the dock but than it fails. When I do new administrator account in the computer and install it opens to start up window but than it fails again. Any idea? Thanx

@lherebob. Welcome to ACADemia!

macomaniac (2012-03-15)

@swamimaj1975. To investigate several possible sources of trouble :
- When running Snow Leopard, is your RAM at least 3 GB or better 4 GB (Apple Menu, About this Mac, More Infos, System Report, Click on 'HardWare', read line related to the RAM)?
- Is your system running in 64 bits kernel (Apple Menu, About this Mac, More infos, System Report, Click on 'Software', penultimate line has to read : 'kernel and extensions 64 bits = YES')?
- Do you block (via LittleSnitch) AutoCAD from phoning home when running?

Hey! CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME?... I'm very new to navigating through mac's technical areas so its kind of frustrating for me.
I was doing great going through the process when i came to step 5 and completely messed up here. I put in the wrong password by accident and i kept hiting enter and nothing was happening. i tried to back out and start over but whenever i get back to step 5 it says this:

@ecs18 got exactly the same problem!

macomaniac (2012-03-20)

Hi guys!
The message : 'sudo: gdb: command not found' in the Terminal means you do not use the right version of XCode that is needed, which is : XCODE 4.2. Drag your XCode app. (probably 'Xcode.app' for Lion = 4.3 contained in your 'Applications' folder) to the trash (without deleting the file), just to put momentarily in quarantine said app. Then download one of the two files the link to which is given p.4 (middle of the page), according to your OS (Lion or Snow Leopard) and install it. Once installed, restart your computer, and you are good for following the cracking process without encountering the message from the GNU Debugger : 'sudo: gdb: command not found'.

Thanks a bunch for your constant help all the way from when it first was uploaded! Your in-depth research and fixes on this torrent have been very useful! I followed every comment you posted with much success! I do, however, have a quick question if you can help me here?
I am running 'Little Snitch' to block AutoCad from calling 'home' while still connected to the internet as you suggested. Everything works as it should but no updates. It is 'unable to connect to server', which is what it is supposed to be doing, but do we download and install the updates from somewhere else?
Thanks again for your time and effort.

I put the bad version of xcode in the trash (did not empty the trash) and downloaded the good version from the link you posted. I saw that it was now in the "developer" folder and not in the "applications" folder so i thought i was good to go. I then redownloaded this torrent and installed the program.
I got to step 5 and I was able to enter my password and more lines came down:

@macomaniac

@macomaniac
Never mind, I dont know what I did but I got it to work! Again thank you for all your help throughout this whole torrent. Once again im sorry to everyone for all the double posting crap above

macomaniac (2012-03-21)

Hi progvincent!
Glad to read you were successful.
An update of 'AutoCAD 2012 for Mac' is actually available. I have given it a try for you and the Cracked app. supports actually that updating from 'Autodesk' site without trouble. Go to 'Little Snitch Rules', 'AutoCAD', uncheck the 'Deny any connection' button, launch 'AutoCAD', the notification 'an update is available' appears (from my 'Hardware Growler' I suspect ; if not, go to 'Check for Updates'). Choose to install it, accept connections asked to 'Autodesk', an update pack is downloaded. Quit 'AutoCAD' app, double-click the package to instal it and the trick is done. When launching 'AutoCAD' again, it's still working as a registered app.
Sooo : is a 'LittleSnitch' denial rule needed so far on, once the app. cracked? I suspect, in this case, that's a matter of personal 'preferences'. I like, for my part, to avoid as much as I can all those 'home calls' from the apps I am using when launching them. So, after updating 'AutoCAD', I checked back in 'LittleSnitch' rules menu the 'Deny any connection' button. Just a warning, nevertheless : if Autodesk announces, not new 'updates' that will 'patch' AutoCAD 2012 actual bundle, but an entirely new version, like 'AutoCAD 2013 for Mac', I suspect it might be risky to REPLACE the actual app. by such a new one. Better waiting in this case for a new torrent at TPB, in the hope the cracking method would be less of a 'pain in the arse' than for this one!

macomaniac (2012-03-21)

Hi ecs18!
The 'warning: Could not find object file "---" - no debug information available for "---" messages, listed as a loooong series in Terminal, though threatening to contemplate, are actually harmless (lol). «The proof's in the pudding» : you were successful nevertheless. The 'message error' in 'XForce' : 'Not admin, wrong version or custom error' was more worrying actually, but apparently you have overcome the problem.

macomaniac (2012-03-21)

Sorry, pals! I messed up the right address previously : what I wrote @progvincent was an answer @TechNut11.

Hi there. Hi just downloaded, did everything has you said.. but in the end, after i copy the HEX numbers and put the password on terminal it appeared "gdb - command not found". what can i do to fix it?

Wrong XCode. Go to : page 5, comment n° 18.

swamimaj1975 (2012-03-22)

@macomaniac
Hi there.
YES, YES and NO, simply AutoCAD is not running, it crashes immidiately when I try to open it, I am not even online, when I am trying to run it. I`ve had success to install it on another two computers, both running on Lion, but no succes on Snow Leopard. I do everything correctly, correct version of X Code, it is just strange. He has installed AutoCAD version 2012 before and it was running, it stopped to work suddenly. I've cleaned the computer and nothing.

macomaniac (2012-03-23)

Hi swamimaj1975!
We know that's not coming from a hardware problem. Now, to decipher the reason why AutoCAD, which was working on your computer running Snow Leopard, ceased to work at one moment, and cannot be re-installed later - I'm afraid not to have an exact clue at that.
One has to know AutoCAD is a 'young' program as a MAC VERSION. Lot of bugs in it, and a tendency to be rather unstable a software. So the possible 'whys', when it comes to explaining a 'crash', are quite numerous!
If you have time and patience in store still (lol), you can try to delete all related files from your computer and re-install the app, hoping for a small luck to success?
If not, is said computer compatible (at hardware level) with Lion? If = YES, you can upgrade to Lion (knowing 'Snow Leopard' can be run back as a virtual machine on Lion host, for using PPC apps) ; OR prepare, on an External Hard Drive partition, a bootable Lion Disk, on which install AutoCAD, which app. seems to work currently with that OS. 'Lateral' solutions, I admit. I have experienced both of them, and the both work actually.

gdanotti (2012-03-23)

Hi guys,
I've been gratefully using this program for the last two months with no problem (*thanks so much!!!*)... until one week ago when a screen came up as I was closing Autocad:
"Product License Activation
... A license error has occurred. You can use AutoCAD for Mac 2012 for 6 days before your licence expires. To use AutoCAD for Mac 2012 after this time period, you must repair your license. What would you like to do
License status [5.2.2] "
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Are there any workarounds? As of today my AutoCAD is no longer working :(
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but get similar messages to ecs18.
What can I do? I desperately need this program to work. The strange thing is that I never turned Little Snitch off... ever! So I don't know how they got me.
PLEASE HELP ME!
Thanks in advance!

macomaniac (2012-03-23)

Hi gdanotti!
Odd thing! AutoCAD has been running flawlessly on my own laptop for 4 months now, on the contrary.
I suspect the files to be incriminated are the ones contained into : System Library (not ∾Library)/Applications Support/Autodesk/folder ADML. What happens if you delete that folder and try to launch AutoCAD? Do you come back to having the choice of a 30-days trial? If = YES, you but have to re-crack the app. (make sure to use the right Xcode). If = NO, you have to delete more radically AutoCAD and its related files scattered in your libraries (you can use the Finder 'Search Function', as explained p.4, around the end, @cumcatano. Don't have at this point the .dmg files downloaded from TPB mounted, or they will be traced too by the Finder. Be aware to delete the files you dragged from Finder window to the trash after asking for it, you need to restart your computer). Are you able after that to reinstall AutoCAD getting a fresh 30 days trial period, allowing you to re-crack the app.?

gdanotti (2012-03-24)

Hi Macomaniac,
Thanks for your response. I followed your instructions exactly- even created new admin account, deleted all traces of the program, emptied out the trash, etc... but unfortunately it still doesn't seem to work.
Once it's installed and AutoCAD is started, it immediately comes up with the 'your trial has ended' screen... There must somehow be a file/files associated with the license still on the computer- perhaps it has a name completely unassociated with 'Autodesk' so we don't pick it up? :(
I tried this about 5 times... on some of those occasions I still proceeded with your crack instructions- just in case it would work, in which case it came up with:
"Activated License Found
Product:
AutoCAD for Mac 2012
Serial Number:
000-00000000
A previously registered and activated license for your product was found on this computer and is now in use." It obviously didn't work.
Not sure what to do? Format and re-try? :(((
Cheers
GD

gdanotti (2012-03-24)

Forgot to point out that following the 'mempatch' step I too got the message 'Not admin, wrong version or custom error' like ecs18. Not sure if that helps.
Cheers

maly_2600 (2012-03-24)

hey guys
at this point i'm so frustrated with this...
i have 27' imac with snow leopard 10.6.8
i also had bootcamp with windows 7 with autocad installed in it
after almost a year working under windows i choose to use my machine properly under mac os and installed 30-day trial from autodesk
on the last day of trial i unistalled it and tried to install autocad 2012 for mac from TPB - it didn't work
at the beginning i had to change to 64-bit kernel cause as default was 32-bit i have 4 gb RAM
i downloaded Xcode macomaniac posted Xcode_4.2_iOS_SDK_5_(Snow_Leopard) and at first installation was going fine but it crashed at the very ending, i uninstalled it, removed all needed files as macomaniac described using the search command in finder, emptied the bin, restarted computer and my problem is when i try to run fresh installation with disconnected internet after step 4 from description when i try to open AutoCAD application (before or after mounting Crack2012.dmg - i tried both ways) it looks like application tries to open, the small starting window shows up, the rainbow circle is turning but after a while it just stops, the window disappear and that's it, i can't do the following steps
for now i removed bootcamp completely (cause i thout autocad installed under Windows there is interfering with installation but i don't know what else can i do)
macomaniac - please help me, i really want to enjoy my computer and my favourite autocad applacation

maly_2600 (2012-03-24)

h i'm so frustrated right now
i have snow leopard 10.6.8 and bootcamp with windows 7 with autocad 2010 installed
i was fed up with working under windows and decided to install autocad 2012 under mac os, downloaded the 30-day trial from autodesk and at the last day of trial i uninstalled it,
downloaded the Xcode_4.2_iOS_SDK_5_(Snow Leopard) link posted by macomaniac and installed it
downloaded TPB torrent and tried to follow the instruction shown on this page, everything was going smooth but at the end installation crashed, then i tried to uninstall app, remove all the files macomaniac described even using search command in finder, emptied the trash restart computer but all the time i try to install fresh copy i get stuck after step nr 4 and i can't even open AutoCAD application (the small window shows up, the rainbow circle is turning but after a while it stops, window disappear and nothing happens) so i can't even go to following steps (i tried both: first step 5 and then 6 and otherwise - nothing from this trick)
now i removed bootcamp
searched for the associated with autodesk files one more time... i don't know what else i can do

macomaniac (2012-03-25)

Hi gdanotti!
I have perhaps found a location where AutoCAD writes files which escape the deleting process, even using the Finder 'Search Function'.
Go to : System Library (not ∾Library)/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/ FLEXnet. Inside said 'FLEXnet' sub-folder, it should exist files the title of which begins by : 'adskflex_'. I highly suspect those files to store AutoCAD preferences which, perhaps, have something to do with your issue.
The problem is : ADOBE software, like 'Illustrator' etc., has the 'bad rule' to write 'Preferences files' into the same folder 'FLEXnet' as 'AutoCAD' itself. The title of those files should begin by 'adobe_'. Seems that such Adobe files, though necessary to the working of Adobe software, CONFLICT actually, inside 'FLEXnet folder', with AutoCAD preferences files. Maybe the source of your license issue, if you installed or updated Adobe software recently on your computer.
Well! I propose you copy said 'FLEXnet folder', containing AutoCAD preference files as well as Adobe preference files, to a location in your 'Home Directory', your Desktop, for example. After what, delete 'FLEXnet' folder from the 'Preferences' folder of your Library. Take it easy! Don't delete the folder before having saved a copy of it to your desktop, for you will need the Adobe preference files later if using Adobe software.
The operation I have described is just for placing into 'Quarantine' those hidden preferences files related to AutoCAD. What happens now if, deleting again AutoCAD and other 'regular' related files (using the Finder Search function), which implies to re-start your computer, you give a try at re-installing AutoCAD from TPB .dmg file? Does the app. allow you to restart the cracking process?
If = success, don't forget after that to re-copy from the 'FLEXnet' folder on your Desktop every 'adobe_' file to the new 'FLEXnet' folder AutoCAD has re-created in your Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher folder, without what your Adobe software won't work any longer. If = failure, remember all the same you need the 'adobe_' files to return to the FLEXnet folder of your Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher, for using Adobe software.

macomaniac (2012-03-25)

Hi Maly_2600!
AutoCAD 2012 FOR MAC has different system requirements than AutoCAD FOR WINDOWS you have been using on your Boot-Camp partition. I suggest to give a glance first at Mac requirements for running AutoCAD 2012 using this link :
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=17327014

Compare on your computer to : Apple Menu/About this Mac/More Infos/System Report/HardWare.
If your iMac doesn't match those hardware requirements, you won't be able to install AutoCAD for Mac, and will have to use back AutoCAD for Windows on a BootCamp partition.
Now, if your iMac stands the AutoCAD hardware requirements, your issue at installing the app. may come from different sources.
1) One could be, as a User of your computer, with a specific administrator session, your Home Folder permissions need to be repaired. (Basic operation) - Go to : Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility. Launch the app., select your 'Snow Leopard' disk, click 'repair disk permissions'.
2) After what, I suggest you give a glance at your User ID, using a simple Terminal command. Go to : Applications/Utilities/Terminal. Launch the app. Into the window which opens, type exactly : id -u "your_user_name", with spaces, substituting to your_user_name your User shots name (name of your Home Folder) inside the brackets ("--"). When done, press 'Return' (or 'Enter') key of your keyboard. In response, immediately under your command line, the Terminal should show the number : 501. If you didn't get '501', but something like '502', you got an issue. If = '501', you are clear.
3) Last, launch the Finder FROM THE DOCK. Click on your Snow Leopard icon (left column). Press together cmd + i ('Get Infos' command). Do you read, at the FORMAT line : Mac OS Extended (journalized)? Do know AutoCAD for Mac but supports that Format to be installed. With any other Format, like 'Mac OS Extended', 'Mac OS Extended (case-sensitive, journalized)' etc., AutoCAD cannot be installed.
If your are right with all that comes before, it isn't possible that a CONFLICT between 'adobe_' files already in place in your Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/FLEXnet folder with the files AutoCAD tries to write jams your installation. Follow what I suggested previously to gdanotti. Finally, before re-trying to instal AutoCAD from the .dmg file downloaded from TPB, delete the app. and all 'regular' related files (using the Finder 'Search Function'), which implies to re-start your computer.
Are you able to process plainly after that?

gdanotti (2012-03-25)

Hi Macomaniac,
Thanks for being so generous with your time/ knowledge. I got rid of all traces of FlexNET but it still doesn't seem to work.
What do you think? What would you do? Should I just format? or (god forbid!) install parallels & windows version of AutoCAD? :(((
Thanks again.
GD
PS. I copied the FlexNET files back to their original places...

gdanotti (2012-03-25)

Also, when copying the FlexNET files back, I found that the computer had already re-made & replaced them automatically. Weird...

Ardit1555 (2012-03-25)

Maomaniac, i followed all your steps carefully to fix the wrong Xcode problem but when i download Xcode 4.2 on the link u posted i can't install it because wright after starting it says installation failure. I tried to download it even from different links but it still said installation failure. I'm running os lion 10.7.3. PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

maly_2600 (2012-03-26)

first of all big thanks to macomaniac this was a long long day but i did it i did it i can't believe
i will share my steps with you
after doing everything i could and macomaniac advised without results i tried really drastic approach: i cleaned my entire imac, reinstalled fresh snow leopard, did all updates, changed default kernel to 64-bit, installed xcode (from the macomaniac's link), restarted computer and followed 'the install' steps and it went pretty well then followed 'cracking' steps till number 7 - this was a little bit awkward so first i received a message from "xforce2012" application and from "Crack2012" that patching was successful, clicked OK but then "Can't get end" window poped-up, clicked ok and tried to follow the rest of the steps but i didn't work; so i closed all the apps and tried to start over from step 5 of 'installing' and again in the step 7 of 'cracking' after successful patching from 'xforce2012' and 'Crack2012' 'can't get end' window poped-up - this time i left it like this and tried to follow the rest of the steps and at the end i received famous finish button in autocad and i knew i can't hit that, so i went to restart computer, but of course 'can't get end' window from crack2012 was blocking it, i tried to shut down computer with power button but it didn't work, one more time i tried to restart and with shaking hands at this point clicked ok in the crack2012 window, then autocad was blocking but i tried force shut again with power button and voila....autocad in da house....thank you macomaniac my love

macomaniac (2012-03-26)

Hi gdanotti!
So bad!
1) You could try another trick = delete the saved state for AutoCAD using Terminal commands as follows :
a) Open a Terminal window (Applications/Utilities)
b) Type : cd ~/Library/Saved Application State and press 'Return/Enter' key (be careful about the spaces in the command)
c) Then type : rm -rf com.autodesk.AutoCAD.savedState (a space between 'rf' and 'com.autodesk..') and hit 'Return'
d) Quit Terminal.
After that, and cleaning back AutoCAD files (the ones into FLEXnet comprised), can you re-instal the app. and go ahead?
2) If not, a 'lateral solution would be to instal Lion (supposing you run Mac OS 10.7) on an external Hard-Drive partition connected to the computer via FireWire. I have tested that several weeks ago using this file :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6823078/Mac.OSX.Lion.10.7.2-ADDiCT

The result was fine. One can boot from such a disk (pressing the alt key when starting the computer). The file is updatable to Lion 10.7.3 without trouble. And I was able to instal AutoCAD on it without problem, after installation of the right Xcode.
No doubt, in doing so, you would be rid of your problems. To create a partition on a given External Hard-Drive, do use Disk Utility. Format in 'Mac OS extended (Journalized)'. Be generous with the space dedicated, if you want to load that disk with applications (from 50 to 100 GB).
3) The more drastic operation would be to re-install freshly your OS. I know : that's a lot of work, to re-instal the apps. with their preferences and passwords.

macomaniac (2012-03-26)

Hi Ardit1555!
Be careful to select the right Xcode file dedicated to Lion :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6721791/Xcode_4.2_iOS_SDK_5_(Lion)___iMZDL.com.

I guess eventually this one might work with Crack2012 too :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6548410/Xcode_4.1_GM_(Lion)

Once downloaded, before installing it, do put in quarantine Xcode 4.3 if already installed on your computer inside the 'Applications' folder as 'Xcode.app'. To do so, drag the icon of the app. to the trash (without deleting it!).
Can you instal now Xcode? I remind you, after installation of Xcode, you need to RE-START your computer to make the app. operational.

macomaniac (2012-03-26)

Hi Maly_2600!
Glad to hear you managed to be successful. Though through a lot of working (lol)...
If you have an external HardDrive with enough space, it would be judicious to make periodic back-ups of your system using TimeMachine. In case AutoCAD crashes and cannot be re-installed at one moment, you could return to a previous state of things where it worked.

@gnadotti. I'm annoyed not to have been able to help more regarding your license issue. Perhaps you could try, in order to uninstall hopefully the problematical AutoCAD-related files, the following app. : http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/#
Once installed in your 'Applications' folder, re-install (lol) AutoCAD from the installer contained into TPB downloaded file, but no need to start again any cracking process. All you need, to have AppCleaner working, is an Application bundle inside your 'Applications' folder.
Once done, launch AppCleaner to have its window open on your Desktop. Then, having now back the black 'Autodesk' folder in place in your 'Applications' folder, open it and drag 'AutoCAD 2012' folder (which contains the app.) in the open field of AppCleaner window. With a bit of a chance, the app. will trace back AutoCAD related-files, hopefully the old ones too.
Seems a lot of hidden files are written by this damn AutoCAD in zillions of places of the two Libraries. Perhaps, this time, to delete such folder as 'com.autodesk.AutoCAD.SavedState' will be useful.
Be careful, check the whole list, not to have your TPB file, with the .dmg disk-images of AutoCAD installer and Crack 2012 checked and consequently deleted.
When the list checked, press 'Delete' button. Don't forget to remove after that from /Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/ the 'FLEXnet' folder to the Desktop (in case of..., for, having tested AppCleaner capacity of related-files tracing with my working AutoCAD app., I didn't see in the list any file from 'FLEXnet' ). Delete too the remaining of the black 'Autodesk' folder from your 'Applications' folder, if there stays something left.
Now, are you able to re-instal AutoCAD from TPB file without license trouble, so as to be allowed to re-crack the app.?

macomaniac (2012-03-27)

@ygted. You need the 'plain' AutoCAD version installed in your 'Applications' folder to crack it. Re-name the folder of your 'Applications' containing AutoCAD educational bundle, something like 'AutoCAD-Edu', and instal in parallel from TPB file a black folder 'Autodesk' containing the 'plain' application bundle. Then, after installation of Xcode 4.2 version (see previously the method) and re-starting of the computer, you can give a try at the cracking process.
In case of a failure, don't delete the 'plain' AutoCAD with AppCleaner or the Finder Search function, not to imply in the process your previous AutoCAD Educational app. files. Trash the black 'Autodesk' folder, and re-name your previous 'AutoCAD-Edu' (lol) to its first title (some apps are indeed sensitive to the native title of the folder containing the app. bundle).

ygted (2012-03-27)

hello again!
I have the same problem as the Ardit1555. I had the newest version of
xcode. Tried it first but got rejected by the software (sudo message).
I deleted it via dragging it onto the trash. I cannot see the old
Xcode anywhere now (no quarantine). I downloaded your lion link
successfully (i use lion), but i got installation failiure. I
downloaded your second link which you suggested to Ardit1555 (xcode
4.1) and the very same installation failure happened. Any helps will
be appreciated.

macomaniac (2012-03-28)

@ygted. I missed to make a point clear, I guess. When I spoke of 'dragging X.code.app' to the trash somewhere in a previous comment, do know you cannot succeed at that just clicking on the app.-icon in the 'Applications' folder and making it slide to the bin-icon in the dock through the desktop width. The right method is the following : select 'Xcode.app' icon in your 'Applications' folder (one click of the pointer). Go now to the Finder menu bar (top of your Desktop) and unfold the menu 'File' to select here 'Put to the Trash' / or use the command : cmd + ⌫ (suppression key, above 'Enter' key). A windows pops up asking for your administrator password. When typed, and 'OK' clicked, then only 'Xcode-.app' is moved to the trash. You can see its icon in it. If you can see none 'Xcode.app' icon in the trash, the app. in not into 'bin-quarantine', and Xcode 4.3 is still working.

macomaniac (2012-03-28)

Hi guys!
I have to release some bad news. To better understand the failure Ardit15555 then Ygted stated, I tried to install back on my MacBookPro running Lion 10.7.3 'Xcode 4.2' I gave previously a link to, after putting in 'Bin-quarantine' 'Xcode.app' (4.3.2) contained in my 'Applications' folder. The result was what they said : an 'Installation failure' message pops up and the installation cannot be completed.
In case it were a conflict between Xcode 4.3 and the installer of 4.2, I removed every files related to Xcode 4.3 from my hard-disk. Same result : installation failure.
The interpretation of that state of things seems, unfortunately, to have to be the following : there is an incompatibility, not between Xcode 4.2 and Lion in general, for I was able several times to install Xcode 4.2, using the file I gave a link to, on Lion 10.7.2 ; but apparently between Lion 10.7.3 and Xcode 4.2 (and I guess with Xcode releases lesser than 4.2, like 4.1 or 4.0 - anterior versions, belonging to the 3-something series, cannot run Crack2012 and are of no interest here).
Thus, in consequence, so far I have experienced the problem, what can be said is the following : Crack2012 & XForce needing Xcode 4.2, installed into a 'Developper' folder outside the 'Applications' folder, to run rightly ; and Xcode 4.2 being no longer able to be installed on Lion 10.7.3 ; people willing to crack AutoCAD 2012 for Mac with the method given here have to install the app. on OSes supporting Xcode 4.2, i.e. Snow Leopard (from 10.6.6 to 10.6.8) or Lion (from 10.7.1 to 10.7.2), unless some unexpected 'good news' happen. Knowing that, once installed on Lion 10.7.2, Xcode 4.2 of no use any longer, AutoCAD keeps on running well on Lion 10.7.3.
For people already running Lion 10.7.3 on their computer, seems they have to install on an external Hard-Drive partition Lion 10.7.2 (I recommend this file I have used successfully to that :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6823078/Mac.OSX.Lion.10.7.2-ADDiCT)
and boot from that system (the Hard-Drive connected to the computer via FireWire and pressing the alt-key at start). After what, install Xcode 4.2 on that system, and AutoCAD afterward (I have done all that with success). It has to be said one can access the main OS of the computer running that external OS.

simon6878 (2012-03-31)

Hey macomaniac!
I have problems with the password..I know it's the good one and nothing else but when i type my password and press enter it says:
sudo: gdb: command not found
what should I do?
Thanks a lot

macomaniac (2012-03-31)

Hi simon6878!
The message : 'sudo: gdb: command not found' means you don't use the right Xcode needed by Crack2012 and XForce. The version of Xcode you need to have installed is : Xcode 4.2, neither Xcode 4.3 nor Xcode belonging to the 3 series. Go to page 4, comment n° 11 for the links to download the file.
The trouble being, if you run already Lion 10.7.3, you aren't any longer able to install Xcode 4.2 on that update of the OS. If you run Snow Leopard (from 10.6.6 to 10.6.8), or Lion (from 10.7.1 to 10.7.2), you are all right for installing Xcode 4.2.
If running Lion 10.7.3, unless you decide to re-install that OS from the basic version 10.7.1 (= lot of work!), seems you are 'doomed' to install Lion 10.7.2 on an external Hard-Drive, in order to install later Xcode 4.2 on it, then AutoCAD. For a link to download Lion 10.7.2, see my comment just above yours in this page.

macomaniac (2012-04-01)

Hi guys!
After having played the 'bad news' courier [:-(] , I can deliver today some 'good news', without 'April Fool' lol [:-)].
I have successfully installed AutoCAD 2012 on Lion 10.7.3. Apparatus : MacBookPro, RAM 4 GB, Xcode 4.3.2 installed in the 'Applications' folder, no Xcode 4.2 (Developper), folder downloaded from TPB on the Desktop, disconnection from internet, no LittleSnitch denial rule.
The good news are : the recent update of Xcode 4.3, entitled Xcode 4.3.2, allows without trouble Crack2012 and Xforce to run rightly. Arrived at the 'Key phase' = password to enter into Terminal before hitting 'Enter' key, none 'sudo: gdb: command not found' in consequence, i.e. the proof Crack2012 is supported by that version of Xcode. Instead, the classical series : 'could not find object file... no debug available', which has to be interpreted as : 'EVERYTHING WORKS FINE', in spite of the dreadful 'negations' in the sentences. When I arrived to last screen : 'AutoCAD has been successfully activated', instead of clicking 'Finish', I just straightly 'FORCE QUIT' the app. and restarted the computer. After what, AutoCAD is regularly activated. The process took me less than 4 minutes to perform.
To summarize : if you are running Lion 10.7.3, check if your 'Xcode.app' installed in the 'Applications' folder is actually Xcode 4.3.2. That update supports Crack2012 and Xforce and allows successful installation of AutoCAD, to the difference of Xcode 4.3 the use of which ended in the infamous 'sudo: gdb: command not found' message in the Terminal, as many others, myself in the number, have experienced.

atbrown (2012-04-03)

I have running Lion 10.7.3 and have Xcode version 4.3.2 in my Applications folder and I am still receiving the message : 'sudo: gdb: command not found'
Anything I can do other than installing this to an external hardrive with 10.7.1 as previously stated?

Delek59 (2012-04-03)

I'm running Lion 10.7.3 and Xcode 4.3.2. When I reach the famous "enter password" screen, I get this error on the Terminal. Any idea please?
MyMac:~ me$ sudo gdb /Volumes/'Autodesk
Crack'/xforce2012.app/Contents/MacOS/x-force

Password:
r
Sorry, try again.
If I try again, the process just stops:
Sorry, try again.
Password:
sudo: gdb: command not found
Please advise :/

macomaniac (2012-04-03)

Hi guys!
The fact I was able to activate AutoCAD on a MacBookPro running Lion 10.7.3 and Xcode.app 4.3.2 is the proof Crack2012 CAN work rightly on that system ; not a guarantee it WILL work without trouble apparently, from your twin failures.
Knowing the computer on which I installed AutoCAD this week-end is in no way a geek's one, being but a basic 2010 MacBookPro with none sophisticated utility-software added, one can hopefully manage to register AutoCAD on a similar device.
I could give nevertheless the following advises :
1° repair the permissions of the Lion disk (using /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility) ;
2° double-click on the icon of /Applications/Xcode.app (4.3.2), in order to accept the terms of the license, in case you updated Xcode 4.3 app. from the AppleStore without doing that after. Then re-start your computer, and launch the app., before 'command-quitting' it, to have Xcode 4.3.2 truly operational for Crack2012.
3° Launch 'AppCleaner'
and drag to its window /Applications/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2012 folder which contains the app., and delete all files once listed in the under-window. Drag to the trash the remaining of /Applications/Autodesk folder and delete it too. All that to be able to re-install cleanly AutoCAD.
4° From TPB folder, I suppose always on your Desktop containing the two .dmg files (AutoCAD and Crack), re-install Autodesk folder in your Applications, without launching the app. Then launch Crack2012, click 'I wanna crack AutoCAD', then only launch AutoCAD from the Autodesk folder, and follow the installation process. Try not to be too slow to find and paste the 8 first HEX characters from Terminal window to Crack2012 one. Don't close any window, neither of 'Activity Monitor' nor of 'Terminal'. When asked to type your password, do that and hit 'Enter' key, hoping none 'sudo: gdb: command not found' will show, but instead a series of ''could not find object file... no debug available'. If that's so, the 'crux' is behind you.

ellihazi (2012-04-03)

@macomaniac
thank you very much! i feel like i'm a macOS expert after reading thoroughly all 7 pages of comments but i have the same problem: running 10.7.03 with Xcode 4.3.2 but Xforce doesn't launch automatically after entering the password in terminal and i'm getting the bash: gdb: command not found etc.
i did everything you said, with all the small differences each time (all about unistalling, deleting by hand all files, connected, disconnected of the internet etc etc.)
the only thing i didn't try is logging in as root admin.
a few things i noted down are
a) sometimes more than one terminal windows open up with different HEX numbers (i tried both of them, most times the ones in the window that was in front)
b) after trying about 10 or more times, today i don't see the try button in autocad activation screen nor the remaining days of trial as yesterday ( i must have at least 15 days of trials remaining though)
if you have anything else in mind about all these please please please help
ps: i used to have 2 admin users on my mac, i permitted administration to the second one but still nothing

macomaniac (2012-04-04)

Hi ellihazi!
Well, when I tried this week-end to install AutoCAD on Lion 10.7.3 with Xcode 4.3.2, I had no great faith at start it would be successful, and I was rather surprised to contemplate the Terminal work flawlessly without 'sudo: gdb: command not found' message, and to hit the 'AutoCAD has been successfully activated' screen in the end. I knew Xcode 4.3 to be incompatible with Crack2012/XForce, but I wanted to give a try at 4.3.2 update nevertheless.
As you are the third one, here, to report failure regarding the repetition of that performance using Lion 10.7.3 and Xcode 4.3.2, I feel split between wondering why I have been able to succeed vs why you are not able to succeed. The trouble coming from the fact the laptop on which I managed to install AutoCAD, though a MacBookPro, is a very basic user's device, without myself having done anything special to be successful but follow, plainly and quickly, the steps of the instructions.
I cannot figure out the reason of those failures could be, through so many tries, the 'permanent feature' of a same misinterpretation of the instructions at one step. If all of you do select the EIGHT first HEX characters shown in the right line of the Terminal (i.e. the half 'x' characters part of the xxxxxxxx-yyyyyyyy expression) to copy and paste into Crack2012 in place of its welcoming message, all is as it has to be when afterward the Terminal asks for the Password. [Do know, for each fresh re-installation of AutoCAD, the HEX series changes, and but the actual one is valid].
So, if one fails in those conditions, getting the 'sudo: gdb: command not found' message, that's not a matter of personal error, but of computer settings. Each computer, though running general software, is made singular by the preferential adjustments of its main user. Which ones are to be incriminated when it comes to success vs failure at installing AutoCAD when running Lion 10.7.3 and Xcode 4.3.2, better to say I'm short of advise here for now.
If you need drastically (:-) AutoCAD, running actually Lion 10.7.3, the easiest would be to partition an external Hard-Disk with Disk Utility in the Format 'Mac OS extended (Journalized)' [be generous in GB!], and install on it Lion 10.7.2 I gave a link to previously. It allows the installation of Xcode 4.2 (cf. link previously too) which is fully compatible with Crack2012. After installation of AutoCAD, you can update to Lion 10.7.3.
I have experienced that operation without problem. After booting from that external OS, your computer runs regularly the software.

ellihazi (2012-04-04)

@macomaniac
Thanx again for your time and advice! i'm really thinking of buying a pc after all that :P!
but one last question, do you think the problem could be from all the unsuccessful efforts i did or because i had autocad 2011 installed before? have you managed to install and use the crack and activate autocad successfully after one or more unsuccessful attemps? sorry if the question sounds silly but i'm so frustrated i didn't do it περφεψτλυ right the first time, thinking that could have been my only chance!

macomaniac (2012-04-04)

@ellihazi.
I don't remember how many times, just for self-entertainment (lol) or for testing purpose, I uninstalled AutoCAD to reinstall it with the cracking method described in the instructions. On the main OS of my own MacBookPro, on Lion running from an external Hard-Drive, on Snow Leopard running as guest OS through Parallels Desktop on my Lion host, and on other computers running Snow Leopard or Lion.
As the aim of a series of those performances was to experience the failure stated by others, like the 'infamous message error' in the beginning or later the 'sudo: gdb: command not found' in the Terminal, I actually succeeded to failing a number of times after working hard at that (lol). In consequence, my computer, and others as well, have welcomed a series of successful installations and of failures.
I have to state never was I impeded to (re)instal successfully AutoCAD by any operation previously performed, neither license problem or ending of trial period notably, nor hedging in of the process of cracking. No bad 'karma'! I remind you, my first comment here was to complain for having failed just hitting the last screen 'AutoCAD has been successfully activated' and, after clicking 'Finish', experiencing the return of first screen : 'AutoCAD is not currently registered'. Hence, myself too began by failure, and not by success. However, after having succeeded once, it is as if that 'turn of things' had created some 'automatism to success' afterward. Odd, no?
Why not try the external Hard-Drive method? I have a 'Lacie' of 160 GB with a FireWire connection, I made a partition of about 100 GB (!) in the format 'Mac OS extended (journalized)' using Disk Utility, I installed on it this OS :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6823078/Mac.OSX.Lion.10.7.2-ADDiCT
; then after booting from it, I installed on it this Xcode 4.2 :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6721791/Xcode_4.2_iOS_SDK_5_(Lion)___iMZDL.com
; after what I installed AutoCAD from the TPB file downloaded on the Desktop and finally updated the OS to 10.7.3.

Freebart (2012-04-05)

I had no problems with the install on 10.7.4 with Xcode 4.3.2 freshly downloaded from the App Store.
I did two extra steps:
1) Install Command Line Tools in Xcode: Preferences: Downloads
2) In the Terminal:
2a) sudo mkdir /Developer
2b) sudo ln -s
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs
/Developer/SDKs
I don't think #2 was needed, but YMMV. All of the other crack steps worked exactly as described.

R3DD1T (2012-04-08)

@Freebart
Could you elaborate on that? I managed to download Command line tools, should this fix the sudo error just like that?

macomaniac (2012-04-08)

Hi pals!
Thanks to Polisdavid, the 'nightmare' is behind.
Just go to this page :
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7168500/Autodesk_AutoCAD_2013_with_%5BK%5Drack
to download AutoCAD 2013 for Mac.
The cracking method is mere child's play compared to the one described in this torrent.
So long guys...

this torrent is a DISASTER, no other program require THIS many steps to install, its simply stupid.

talebi (2012-07-15)

can someone please help me!
i already have an Activated License.
when i register, it says "Activated License Found", and that my computer is on the server.
i do the whole steps, but when doing step #7, i can generate and get the "activation code", but since my computer is already activated, there is no window to enter the new "activation code".
can someone please tell me how to deactivate my old license, or do step #7, that i would be able to enter new "Activation code" giving to me by the "xforce2012".
thanks.

patolya (2012-08-14)

would it be easier if someone give us the activation code? I tried and tried and tired and I am getting tired of trying. I follow every steps but still not registered. The Xcode doesn't give you the right code at all, always too short or too long. Can someone tell me how to activated it? I am using Lion 10.7...THANKS!!!

sfancy (2012-08-15)

NEW ISSUE
I have previously successfully installed this program and cracked it. Recently, I opened the program and a window popped up saying that it was not registered. I went through the process several times to crack&patch, but it failed each time. This didn't concern me to much because the same thing happened to me the first time around. After the last failure however, whenever I start the program, it loads for a while and then the process is killed. It seems as though the hack and patch process may have changed the code in my OSX in a way that is now clashing with the startup process of the program. I repaired permissions and verified the disk and that didn't solve anything. What should I do? Do I have to reinstall Lion? I was thinking of upgrading to Mt. Lion, should I do that and then try the process again?

sfancy (2012-08-15)

Just to clarify, I've been using the program for many months now since I used this crack without any problems. I don't know what made the crack suddenly fail, perhaps some sort of osx update. I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else. Also, to clarify another thing, the reason I think it's a problem with osx is because I reinstalled the program and am having the same issue.
