K-Lite Codec Pack 4.5.3 Full Friday - January 16th 2009 A new version of the codec pack has been released with several updated components. New in this version is an option to choose to use an experimental MT (multi-threading) build of ffdshow. Advantage of that build compared to regular ffdshow builds is that it has better decoding performance for H.264 on CPUs with multiple cores. This version of the codec pack is compatible with Windows 7. Tests show that there are only some issues with loading subtitles in some players.
