I listened to a ton of these books way back. One conclusion: they're almost all crap. You don't build self esteem, you earn it.The_Abee (2011-10-17)
@yazz00Completely Agree With U.. Rather I haven't Read Much, Expect one or more.
There is Just The Mind's Psychology which motivates ..
Yep ! , I agree it is Just Crap.. Instead of that I always prefer Novels etc.

Thanks very much for this item. Can you please do a book called "Stick-to-it-iveness" by Addie Johnson? Thanks in anticipation.TorrentsPimp (2011-11-07)
The best Hypnosis for confidence is Hypnotica's collection of confidence...http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/4008367/Hypnotica_-_Collection_Of_Confidence

Hey, you two nimrods who made the first posts above - This is hypnosis, to instill in you new mental habit patterns, not a book. wake up.Secondly, if you're going to read any book on self-esteem, it should be "Honoring the Self" by Nathaniel Brandon, if you can handle such material. Brandon was the first and I believe the only psychotherapist to present a complete treatment on the subject, exploring not only what self-esteem is, explaining it's developmental process, the reason it is required, how it gets blocked, etc. but also how to build it.
But again, what's presented here is not a book, it is a self-hypnosis session to effectively retrain your brain for you... of course, you'd have to actually use it consistently for 30 days or so for it to work, just like you'd have to do the exercises in the books you read if you actually wanted them to work...

@ironymonmaybe some of us have bad sight. Others could be spending many hours driving every day and enjoy a good book. Did you ever think of that?
Amea81 (2012-03-27)
@ironymonAre you an idiot? Driving, running, walking, sleeping.
That's just a few things where audio books come in handy. Not to mention all the fucking activities that uses your hands.. So ignorant.

this stuff really works.i have searched this kind of material much.it helps a lot.A good suggetion is that if you want to use many sessions than you should download this torrent or torrents like this.download a mp joiner cutter sofware than cut these sessions in that way that at start you put session which have induction and at the end put the session which has wakeup.in middle put the middle portions of the mp3's. in this way you may have upto 1 hr of long session.before gong to sleep listen it.you will sleep while listening.i am doing it for one month.very very effective it is

step one to building high self esteem? steal audiobooks on self esteem. lol morons, how are you idiots not embarrassed to even be seeding this? your thieves who hate yourself and you try to fix it by thieving more. hahahabob1981 (2012-09-01)
@kicesYou're so right man. Poor people have no right improving their lives so they may no longer suffer. For your sake I feel I must point out that was sarcasm. Your ignorance amuses me :)
bob1981 (2012-09-01)
@yazz00You are one of those types that are so depressed with your life and stuck in a constant rotation of hate and fear that instead of sucking up your pride and realizing that you're broken and need help you'll just continue to be the same sad way until death. There is nothing wrong or unhelpful with hypnosis. If it doesn't work then it's simply user error.
Glowtrain (2012-09-24)
Why do people post comments that are insulting, and not helpful? What are they doing in here to begin with if they do not like it?@ yazz00 - One could say that earning and building self esteem are the same thing, no? Also, some people tend to confuse confidence and self esteem. How can one receive self esteem from an audio book if they have failed at life so far?
One of my biggest problems is that I lack confidence and my self esteem is not what it used to be. However, in most other areas I am more than sufficient, I just cannot portray myself as so.
I thought I would give one of these audio books on self esteem a try. Yes, an audio book is not much of a commitment, but I just want to see how it works.

@yazz00 How do you 'earn' self-esteem? What a load of BS. Do you even know what self-esteem is? It's how someone views themselves based on their thoughts and emotions. It's got nothing to do with 'earning' anything.rao81 (2013-03-04)
mantesh thanks bro for a great upload forget about the negative self righteous pompous fucks who think they know all thanks again mateBrahj (2013-03-31)

Thanks for the up.For those looking for books, read Stephen R. Covey's - The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. I've read way too many books on many fields of psychology, methods and analysis of meditation, hypnotism, etc., etc. and his was one of the most brutally honest, Psychology of a Serial Killer, was one of the most interesting. I wrote papers on both. Covey's book is mainly geared for corporate structure or business minded individuals, but covers many of the basics as well. The greatest points covered are perception, which he goes into in great detail. And an explanation why just about all 'self-help' literature produced in the past hundred + years is simply a band-aid, rather than a true solution for self-improvement. Most people just don't want to take the time, or put in the work, to be better, or they do, but they're trapped into thinking that they can't. It takes an incredible amount of time and energy, and is a sometimes painful process that doesn't end till the day you die. Most people just want a quick fix, but they tend to leave you off worse for wear in the end.
Read his book, but take it with a grain of salt, because trying to handle his steps all at once has caused at least two recorded cases of acute psychiatric disorders attributed to trying to follow his steps too quickly. Both cases were middle aged individuals that suffered nervous breakdowns.
Basically it gives you the tools to rewire your thinking, and start detoxifying your mind of all the cliches, stigmas, stereotypes, commercial clutter, and social engineering that's been bombarding us all since before we were born (since most people's mothers have been subject to all the above while we were in the late stages of developing biological and environmental awareness while in the womb), but it's no easy guide.
“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty… I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.”
― Theodore Roosevelt

Thanks for the up.For those looking for books, read Stephen R. Covey's - The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. It's designed for corporate structure, or business minded individuals, but it does a good job of covering the basics. It's a hefty challenge to try and follow, but well worth it if you take your time and follow his steps with a grain of patience. Better than 99% of self-help techniques and literature out there, unless you're willing to go back to pre-1800's self-help literature and psychology. People don't evolve, they devolve. And unfortunately our predecessors for the last hundred and sixty years have been devolving the wrong information to us. Our physiology remains unaltered, yet our psychology is under constant assault by commercial and social engineering. But this isn't new to our time. There is nothing new under the sun. Everything that is happening, has happened before.
“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty… I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.”

This is outstanding. One of the best hypnosis audios.Clear, hypnotic voice, and un-distracting, supportive music.
However, I would change many of the suggestions and affirmations.
Half of them are phrased in the future tense and/or phrased in the negative. For example:
"I will never, ever, criticize myself." (future tense, negative...better would be, "I always catch myself doing something right."
"You will understand that people who are critical of others are usually insecure themselves, and are deflecting away from their own weakness, so you will never take criticism to heart. You will see it for what it is, and rise above it."
WTF? The above suggestion is a long, convoluted paragraph. More hypnotic and effective would be, "You will rise above criticism."
There are good affirmations and suggestion though. It would be easy to trim those suggestions/affirmations out in Audacity...which I'm going to do to this, as well as to one section in Paul McKenna's Supreme Self-Confidence (the part where he gives a lecture on endorphins in the hypnotic trance).
I still think this is one of the best I've heard.
The audio quality is perfect.
The music doesn't get in the way of the hypnotist.
The hypnotist has a pleasing voice.
Also, the hypnotist doesn't say crap like, "You're mine," instead of "Your mind," like Hypnotica and Mark Cunningham do.
