This works just fine on XP SP2.
Those who asks why you can't save, well you can but only in checkpoints.
Tho you should play Soul Reaver 1 first because you'll find yourself a lot in situations at the beginning where you don't know what to do cause you haven't played SR, unless if you wanna read walktrought every now and then.
But it sucks that those movie files aren't working, so I downloaded another version.

Works PERFECTLY!! Sound: 10/10, Speed: 10/10, Load option: Yes, Everything else: 10/10
But, my only qualm is that the opening cutscene (Chronoplast) is missing. It simply starts with Moebius saying, "'Where am I?' is the usual question. In your case, 'when' might be more... apt." But that's just a small error (I'm in a hurry; can't think of any better word!) compared to the hundreds of things that work flawlessly (...in a hurry...) in this wonderful upload! Expect an up captainelliotspencer, you are my favourite uploader!
