Rudy Klapper from Sputnikmusic gave a favorable review saying: James is at her best when she’s imitating Aguilera’s brazen sass on the rhyming verses of “the song,” perhaps the only tolerable real ballad on the album. The song is a pop ballad, written by herself, Rodney Jerkins and Savan Kotecha, that talks about a girl point of view, that stay fine and better (lookin' good) without her boyfriend. Jessie James is the debut self-titled album by American pop/country singer song-writer Jessie James. The album was released on August 11, 2009 under Mercury Records. The Album charted on the Billboard Top 200 Charts at #23 on debut week, selling about 20,133 copies. The song Wanted was the album's lead single on May 12, 2009 and peaked at #40 on the Billboard Hot 100. The second single I Look So Good (Without You) was released on August 25, 2009.
