Asshole. Converting to MP4 without quality loss is as simple as this with ffmpeg:
ffmpeg -i movie.mkv -vcodec copy -acodec copy outputmovie.mp4
There, was that so fucking hard? Or if you're scared of a command prompt, use AVIDemux.
