Has anyone been able to burn this and use it successfully?
My MBP just spit the disc back at me after burning and inserting.
I did it via Disk Utility.

Yes, I ended up doing that to an external 2.5" firewire drive I have. It booted/installed just fine from that.
Still have not been able to burn this and get it to work.

You should check if your CD/DVD drive supports custom DL DVDs. Burn a data DVD DL with any data and test if it mounts.

Umm, it's an early 2008 2.5ghz MacBook Pro...I'm positive that all MBP's support DVD-R DL disks for both burning and reading situations.
My wife's old last gen powerbook will even read DL disks...I know because I burned iLife 08 on a DL disk and installed fine.

Yes, I'm sure it reads and writes DL DVDs, but in some cases some drives may read video DVDs but not data DVDs burned on another Mac.
Actually it's possible that Apple has added some new trick to this Leopard release. I haven't tested it yet.

You don't put the entire DMG file onto your ipod. You need to google and find how to install leopard from an external disk. It involves restoring the .dmg w/ disk utility to the external or ipod when it's mounted.
Additionally, if your iPod is formatted for windows (FAT32) you will run into the 4gb limitation on file size. If not and its formatted for Mac HFS+, there is no size limit.

Hey Everyone:
To burn you need to make it bootable. So do the burning in "Disk Utilities" that will make the disk bootable.
And then you can install it on your mac.

Do not forget to burn the image on a good quality DVD + R DL (Verbatim..).

I've been waiting to install Leopard since its been released, but wanted to wait for all the glitches to be fixed, thanks uploader!
If it isn't too much trouble to ask you guys; please seed for a couple of days! I've been trying to download this for 3 days and I'm still at 1.6% (goes anywhere from 1kB/s to 6kB)

Leopard Minimum HW Requirement is an 867 MHz G4 or any G5 or Intel Mac. Your machine is 1.42 GHz, so you should be good to go. Pay attention to burning requirements stated above. Cheers - BrainStorm

Have a macbook pro Power PC G4 running tiger 10.4.11. Haven't done this before so how exactly do I download this file. Everytime I select "Get This Torrent" I download it and it goes to my desktop and nothing I do allows me to open it. Can someone walk me through this.

Hi every one,
i have a Powerbook G4 1,33 PPC i made the download and it comes with a lot of files. Can someone help me please, there's no dmg file, i tried to create a bootable usb on Poweriso but it dont recognise any file, even the disc utility recognize the files they appear but i cant select any!
Maybe its simple but i didnt find any solution!
