Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Deja Vu

One of the most hotly awaited second albums in history -- right up there with those by the Beatles and the Band -- Déjà Vu lived up to its expectations and rose to number one on the charts. Those achievements are all the more astonishing given the fact that the group barely held together through the estimated 800 hours it took to record Déjà Vu and scarcely functioned as a group for most of that time. Déjà Vu worked as an album, a product of four potent musical talents who were all ascending to the top of their game coupled with some very skilled production, engineering, and editing.

Excellent. I remember going to this midnight movie once back in the 70's and watching a documentary on CSNY. Holy crap, was everyone baked back then or what. Seriously! If kids did half the stuff we did back in the day it would be utter hysteria. Young was a crazed rebel back then so he split. He wasn't a crazed out as Joe Walsh however. That dude was out there!

the pot was low potency, the lsd highly potent. we were all baked back 'then' and tripped at the drop of a hat. the pot today though is far superior and the acid is junk. ride a bike a long way, then bathe. it feels just as good to be healthy....peace.
