Description:

Nes for ps2 (http://psx-scene.com/forums/ps2-homebrew-dev-emu-scene/51658-fceultra-ps2-17.html) I use a usb stick to play this emulator and all the games, There is a readme file with all the instructions on how to do this included. This emu has great compatibility and is still a WIP, so its only going to get better. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to making this great software.

I'm sure it's no sweat dude and let me be the first to thank you for getting this up. Damn I seem to have trouble with it though. You're tutorial was straight forward enough but I can't get it to work :P. See when I put the C.D in at the top of the screen it says "Failed to load LAUNCHELF.CNF" so I figured whatever and did like you said and went to mass drive and it just freezes :(. Tried this a couple times and no luck. So its cuz of my piece of s**t mac os x right cuz I read somewhere about formatting those flash drives in something my mac can't write to. Sigh..... can you confirm this is why it isn't working mack just so I know for sure cuz if thats the case then I'll just take it to a friends and get it done there. Either way thanks very much in advance I'm sure I'll be playing nes games on my ps2 in no time! Cheers dude!

So yeah I can browse my memory card and navigate but it freezes when I pick mass guess it must be this damn 2 gig kingston data traveller but you're sure its not the format right (I'm using FAT32) cuz I just don't wanna have to buy another flash drive if I don't have to but if it has to be done I'll pick one up. Thanks for all you're help mack!

dirty_cousin (2008-02-20)

oh man oh man so I dug out a 1 gig mini SD and voila I can browse the mass drive I choose fceu.elf and it freezes :P. Man I was soooo close. Can I have anything else on the flash drive or does it have to be just the emu roms and save file?

dirty_cousin (2008-02-20)

Sorry reason I ask is cuz I just used the mini SD card I use for my gameboy flash card which had nes roms on it but also other gba roms.

emulator worked perfectly, i put some games on my usb (1 gig usb in FAT format) and worked perfectly with all the games i had on there.

dirty_cousin (2008-03-02)

Tried everything. Now using 1 gig Kingston DT, FAT 32 (also tried 16), downgraded elf to .90 g, tried different usb ports, and I only have roms, emu and save folder on usb stick. Is there anyway to just a burn you're own compilation disc that will boot directly from swap magic? This usb shit is too confusing. I have toast. It sucks being a broken head burnout.

dirty_cousin (2008-03-03)

Thanks anyway dude. I have a mac :P. That's why you're torrents were so useful to someone like me. I'm not lazy I just don't have the right software to burn this shit. Or I probably do whatever keep on rocking in the free world!

hey anyone i need help...well i figuered out how to use this and add roms and have had success playing it on my ps2 with swap magic 3.6..some of the roms dont work or dont work properly ...and damnit miketysons punch out was one of them...ive tried 5 different copies of tyson rom and they all are slow...all i want is to be able to get it on a disk with any emu and play it with no glitches.. i tried the whole mame thing and had the same problem...some one help i want to play mike tyson punch out on my ps2

TaKeIt4fReE (2008-03-11)

i know you can figure it out mack, the mike tysons punch out works fine on the nes emus i have on my pc. but slows down on the fceultra when on the ps2. is there a possible way to use other elf files like the fceultra one instead? i know theres gotta be a way for this to work,, i cant stand playing it on the pc i have no controller.

TaKeIt4fReE (2008-03-17)

alright , thankyou for giving it a shot.

TaKeIt4fReE (2008-03-26)

hey mack i tried to replace the elf file with the one u said..but something didnt work properly. there is no cdfc or whatever its callled in the menu...so i couldnt play any of the roms...any tips or have you gotten any where on it ?
