The Fall - Last Days Of Gaia (English - actually works ;)

This is a working version for "The Fall: Last days of Gaia" - as I got extremely frustrated searching for one that worked (and included serials, etc) I decided to post one myself. If you follow the included instructions, everything will work. Please note that you may need to physically disconnect your CD/DVD drive temporarily while you play (but all that junk is in the instructions) Enjoy :)

Another note, to change Video settings (resolution, etc) you need to open The Fall in your Programs menu and select "The Fall Einstellungen"

I get up to installing and then it comes up with 'Bitte cd 2 einlegen' which im assuming says insert cd 2 which there isn't.Is there another way to install this without disconnecting my dvd drive which sounds like a huge bother.Ive been waiting for this game for ages but it seems this isnt going to work either.

no problem man, for everyone's reference, you don't need to disconnect your drive to *install* the game, but you MAY need to disconnect it to *play*
On my laptop, i had to pull the drive out - but on my desktop PC, i didn't need to, neither did it ask for a cd-key... strange
My guess is it has something to do with IDE drives. If yours is SATA you should be fine!

Guys this works on Magick ISO right? what if I use some no CD crack ? does it still compel me to rip my CD/DVD drive?

Works like a charm.
Strange enough:
- Mounted the ISO.
- Installed the English mod.
And the game just ran.
No need for official ISO or mini image to play.
OS: Win7 x64.
So you might want to try it this way instead.
Before you disconnect any drives or use the included tools.

This torrent doesn't work. Oh yeah, the CD is active, and the game does install, but even with instructions Starforce thwarts me. I'm on Vista x64 and the patches will *NOT* run. They'll start to install and patch 1.9 randomly fails every time before hitting about 30%. Starforce is blocking the .exe, and every. patch. I've. downloaded. fails.
Started with patch 1.8 and 1.8 beta to be sure on the second check. It confirms that the version is in fact 1.8 and cancels the installation of said patch.
It seems very fond of killing 1.9 with a "python23.dll" error, but that file IS in place and I'm pointing out the primary folder on attempt.
This isn't the first time I've edited core programs by a long shot, but this is also the first time I've seen StarForce dick-grip a file so hard.

I'v got a problem. When i hit setup window pop up and it say installation in progress, but after a few seconds another window pop up and its like:
[errno 13] Permision denied autorun.inf and some wierd lines of txt later. Anybody got solution for this?

Thanks for game! I sow this game in some magazine before it was released and since then I wanted to try it.
Btw, there is no need for that StarForce screwing around. There is working crack for 1.5 version on GameCopyWorld. Install game and do everything uploader wrote except installing patches. Replace thefall.exe with crack and game will work. No need for serials also.
