Hey man, Thanks for posting this for me. I've been looking for a clean, unmolested version of this for quite some time and you were the only one I knew that had one.
Please enjoy this everyone! I will be seeding this for quite a while.

Kuriente (2008-10-26)

u peepz need to be patient. I've been seeding this (and only this) for less than 14 hours and there are over 100 peers so one could say my bandwidth is a little spread out at the moment. I suspect around this time tomorrow we'll start getting multiple seeds so until then, stfu.

cheesynoob (2008-10-28)

Hi, i keep getting the blue screen of death halfway through installation, have had to go back to 32 bit version :(

cheesynoob (2008-10-28)

regarding my last comment, i have since found out that the blue screen issue happens when you have more than 2gb of ram installed, the solution is to remove your ram till you have 2gb left.

cheesynoob (2008-10-29)

yes this really works, all you have to do is to burn the iso image to a dvd (i used nero) and boot off the disk and install. Make sure you have no more then 2gb of ram installed in your pc during installation or it will blue screen and crash, when installation is complete then add as much ram as you please. A great upload, thanks.

SRNStudios (2008-10-29)

Interesting, I wonder why it does that? I had an issue with my motherboard and a couple raid ports that were 3rd party driver controlled and I had my Optical drive plugged into one of those by mistake. :|
I like this particular upload because it's just Vista Ultimate, nothing else.

williamwallace177 (2008-10-29)

how to make this dvd is boot
Just burn Iso ???????????????
or another thing to make it (boot)

cheesynoob (2008-10-29)

re williamwallace177. All you have to do is to use nero to burn the iso image to a dvd, there is a "burn image to disk option" you do that and the dvd will be bootable, change the boot order in your bios so its booting off your dvd drive. This is a very easy installation.
As for the ram issue it has something to do with a problem that was rectified with service pack 1.

jeffsharmon (2008-10-30)

Seed please!!!

Dark_Lolita (2008-10-31)

Do you have to leave your Memory at 2gb after it is installed? or can you replace the memory you removed when it is done installing? Id hate to think i bought all this ram for nothing.

Kuriente (2008-10-31)

I installed it on 4GB without an issue so I guess it probably depends on other factors (perhaps certain motherboards or CPU's). Good tip anyway though for those that it applies to.
As far as booting, it's a bootable image. I've burned it with PowerISO several times without issues. With poweriso you don't have to configure anything, just open the image file with the program and tell it to burn it.

cheesynoob (2008-11-01)

i have installed this onto 3 pc's 2 of which wouldnt install with more than 2gb of ram installed, if this does happen its no big deal as you can add as much memory as is needed after install. This shows up as a valid copy of vista and auto updates without a problem. Download this with confidence, probobly the most usefull DL i have ever had on TPB.

ubuntun00b (2008-11-03)

I dont know why this might be illegal. Its so fun.
Im used to XP with 8 years under my belt, and im used to the procceses and services, but with this vista holy crap. so many to disable. I also wanted to say I joined TPB just because of this torrent and user who uploaded this. I wanted to say thanks, even if it does contain a password stealer, wich Im a complete retard for saying that, I wouldnt mind. Because this boosted my q6600 and my pd945 big time. If you had a paypal id send you a couple bucks. Thanks man.

kennydodo (2008-11-09)

Thanks alot. this works perfect without any problem. more grease to your elbow.

cabbagehill (2008-11-09)

absolutly brilliant. i had installation problems but followed the advice of cheesynoob, auto updater works. thank you kuriente

Ichijoe (2008-11-09)

Will this work on Non-Dell Laptops, like those form Fujitsu Siemens? Or would I need to use my OEM Key, or some other "Hack/Crack" to use this??

Kuriente (2008-11-11)

Yes, this should work on any PC with compatible hardware. No key required (OEM or otherwise). No hacks required. This one works out of the box, so to speak.
Simply burn it and then install it and then I steals your moneys. (last part was a joke.)

unmanaged (2008-11-13)

SEED PLEASE!!!I have never needed a copy so bad, and no one is seeding any VISTA 64 it seems!

zen45 (2008-11-15)

come on people somebody has to seed every body is just downloading, im getting 50 kbs dn. with all the people downloading i should be getting at least 200 kbs, come on unlock your uploads

cheesynoob (2008-11-16)

am seeding from the hours of 00.00 and 08.00 uk time, cant seed 24/7 due to internet download restrictions :(

DaBungler (2008-11-17)

What's this about stealing passwords!?! Does this download contain something we should wary of?

DaBungler (2008-11-17)

Sorry, meant to ask in other comment.......Does this install the custom version or is it just like retail?

Kuriente (2008-11-20)

No, the password stealer comment was a joke. There is nothing customized in this, it is exactly as it would be from an original retail disk. Better in some ways I suppose as you don't have to register it as you would with a retail copy.

j00rab (2008-11-22)

Well, the x86 version of this has worked for me for over a year with no problems - constantly swapping out hardware. This, however, asked for a new product key (not activation) after changing configuration about four times.

Kuriente (2008-11-24)

Interesting, I've never had it ask me for one, but then again I generally reinstall Windows when I do a major configuration change anyway so that might be why I've never encountered it. I have swapped out graphics cards on a few occasions with no problems though.
When it asked you for a key did you have any issues applying one? Just wondering if you had any issues or remedies with that in case it comes up again for anyone else.

j00rab (2008-11-27)

I hadn't had it running long enough to install SP1, so I was mostly locked out of the system. I tried just reactivating, but that gave me no love.
I'm going to venture a guess that it was an isolated problem probably due to a corrupt WGA file or something (not unlikely with the things I was doing to the system.) A quick search for the error code I had shows that it's quite common, even on legit copies.
I've since reinstalled it, with all hardware in place, and am now fully up-to-date. If there's any issues in the future I'll post them here, and try to delve a bit deeper into why they occurred.
I do recommend this DL.

streaky_wong (2008-11-28)

Hay Guys download stop at half way
Can you guys please help
I need some seeder man
thx

Hikarineko (2008-11-30)

Has anybody really have this 2GB installation issue?
I don't think this version is worthy if it happens. Can anybody confirm it?

cheesynoob (2008-12-01)

the 2gb issue isnt a problem, it just means you install with 2gb of memory and once thats done you can have as much ram as your board will take. There are forums related to thiss issue, but its no big deal.

j00rab (2008-12-02)

Any version of vista before SP1 will likely have the RAM issue due to a flaw in the kernel itself. This is not version/release specific. Some folks may be immune, but most are not.
To work around it, install everything as normal with 2GB of ram in the system. Once installed and running, either use Windows update until you have SP1 installed, or install update KB929777.
If you get a message saying that the update does not apply to your system, then you either downloaded the wrong one (you want the x64 update for this ISO), or you already have it.

cheesynoob (2008-12-02)

spot on there sir, i couldnt have said it any better
