Hey, I just wanted to give everyone the heads up on this game. It's been suggested on another website that this game has a problem with one of the waves, so if you have ixtreme 1.15, it will not work on your console. You should be good with 1.14, but again, you will be wasting your download, if you have 1.15. Just giving everyone the heads up.

It's iXtreme 1.5, not 1.15.
But yes, it's true, this game won't boot on any stealth firmware, including iXtreme 1.5 stealth.
Only firmware it boots on is 1.41 non-stealth for BenQ.
And only NTSC/USA & NTSC/Japan consoles since this is not regionfree.
Seems this disc has a new sort of protection, which current stealth firmwares can't circumvent.
Word is that iXtreme 1.6 is already in the works. Better get your flash kit ready. ;)

"Microsoft has implemented a new way in which they create discs, maybe a way to stop piracy or just a way to get the New Xbox Experience to people that dont have internet access? In these 2 new releases, Microsoft has added a portion of the disc dedicated with the NXE update which is throwing off the the way 360 modders are able to play discs. There have previoulsy only been 2 types of PFI and Video partitions, and now they have discovered a new "3rd Wave" video partition on the discs.
The way these new discs are made, they are said to only boot up on systems that were modded with firmware before the developers of the hacked firmware discovered how to stealth the backup discs. So, users with modded systems that want to play these games are forced to downgrade their hacked firmware to a firmware that Microsoft has been able to detect, and therefore, ban users of Xbox LIVE.
Is this a new way to thwart off piracy of Xbox 360 games, or will the modding community find away to play new backup games on LIVE?"

OK, I've updated my Liteon with the new iXtreme 1.51 firmware. I've checked the ISO with the new ABGX360 GUI 1.0.0 and it comes back completely valid. I burned the game with Xbox Backup Creator 2.8 build 0275 (which interfaces with Imgburn) just like I have with countless games before. The burn is successful, HOWEVER, when I check the burned DVD again with ABGX360, it again passes everything except when checking the game content. It says the CRC check is bad. I've tried three times and have had the same result each time.
My question: do I have to do anything special when burning this new game?
