I watched this ALL the way through. I watch every movie I do before I upload.
I wish people would make sure there codecs were up to date before trying to make out a movie is faulty but apparently that's too much to ask...

Hmm, think I was jumping to conclusions to m8. Your codec setup should play this ok so I'm gona get you to do a few things.
For playback try using wmp or media player classic. I know it plays back fully on these.
I watched it on wmp. I took the screenshots in media player classic.
If you can, reload this in your torrent client. ( remove and re-add if it's still in there )
Force your client to recheck the torrent. Just in case someone's passing bad data.
Make sure the files defraged and not on a bad sector on your hdd as well.
Only other person who had problems playing this back, needed codecs. Thats why I thought yours needed done.

Could be the bitrate or a pre-buffer issue.
Give vlc player a bash. It's more stable during playback of mp4.

Also, you need to understand that this file is 720p resolutions. High definition.
Takes a decent gfx card with support for truehd and a decent cpu to playback smooth.
If it helps, I use an am2 x2 6000+, 2 gig dual channel ddr2 800 memory, a 7950 gt and xp x64 sp2.
Playback through media player classic is smooth on my system.
Need to make sure nothing in the background is chocking it as well.

Ps3 is partialy broken. This is because of a broken profile from doom9 forums.
Please read the comments on my transformers torrent.
If it helps, I can recode this for you with a working profile. I'm already having to do that with the transformers torrent.

checked out your site, did some reading, tried yamb and split the file but when it finished there was 3 parts, 2 over an hour that i still get unsupported data and a third part that is 13 seconds that plays fine?!?

As I said, the profile I recently updated to is partialy broken. The rip works for some but not others.
I have offered to re-encode this for you using a fully working x264 profile. The offer still stands.

I will do. It will take a few days as I'm already commited to encoding and uploading a fixed version of transformers.
The reason the smaller piece worked and the others didn't is because they are over 1 gig. I tried splitting this at just under 1 gig and all pieces worked through streaming, dvd, external, internal etc.
It's caused by the profile but it causes strange things to happen at the muxing level.
I didn't figure that one out untill after I posted that guid so I'm sorry if I wasted your time.
One possible fix I did think of was to use yamb to demux the audio to mp4 and the video to raw h.264.
Rename the raw .h264 file extension to .264.
Then mux it together in an mp4 container using megui.
That should make the file work as it cancels out the fault with the profile.

It doesn't have to be 720 lines. Thats the max it can be. Anything between 480 lines and 720 lines is 720p.
Just the same as a standard 480p dvd doesn't have to have 480 lines. It could be 325 lines and it's still 480p.
The file is a common 2.35:1 720p resolution.

Erm, there is three that were broken on ps3. If you read the post it does say that they are broken on ps3.
2 of them, working fixed versions have already been posted including this one.

Despite your attitude, I'm posting you a confirmed working fix for these files that are broken on ps3, to save you redownloading.
The video stream is compliant but the mp4 container is bugged.
In simple quick terms, to fix this, use a program called yamb to demux the file.
You want to demux the video to raw avc (.264) and the audio to .mp4.
Then use yamb to mux the files back into an mp4 container.
Thats it. That fixes this file.
