Beatles - The Beatles (White Album): DE stereo This was transferred from a pristine 70's reissue of the German Stereo LP (1C 172-04 173 and 1C 172-04 174, not the DMM version) by EMI Electrola/Apple and declicked when strictly necessary. The wav files were converted to flac files for this torrent. A CUE file with proper gaps was included for use with EAC. A MD5 file and a FFP file were included for checksum purposes. This is sourced from a German vinyl that I bought in 1987, a late stereo pressing, but *not* the famous DMM (Direct Metal Mastered) vinyl, which has a superior quality. I even had to perform a very slight noise reduction on this, the only case among my needledrops.
Note: I think there's no German White Album in the Ebbetts' catalogue.

Thanks BeatleTom. You know, this one is not my favourite transfer. The master must have been a high generation one, I can hear a big difference between this one and the German DMM release or the UK stereo release: this one sounds kind of "flabby" for the most part. But it's ok: my main purpose is to transfer my vinyls to preserve them, in a faithful way. More needledrops are on the way, so stay tuned.
