Well that's definetly not normal but since no one has reported this before and I didn't experience it before too, I can't really help with it. Sorry.
Did you try reinstalling? Which website does it redirect to?

got the same error.. its asking me the download the update version of the game

the game can be played but after a few minutes it crashes.
