You haven't patched it with the crack.
Copy the ".exe" file from the crack folder over the top of the original one located in:
C:\Program files\Telltale Games\Back to the Future The Game\Episode x\
This needs doing for each episode

These are SO good! What a great game series.
Works fine.
The only issue i noticed occurred on Windows 7 64-bit systems (two tested) and on them both the frame rate on the in-game movie scenes began skipping/stuttering badly. Both were high-end machines: a quad core and a triple core with 4GB ram each and N-Vidia Geforce graphics cards.
On Windows 7 32-bit systems i tried they played out smoothly as anything (and these were much lower spec machines than the 64bit ones tested and with budget 3rd-party GeForce cards.)

I have a problem with the crack. It says :The program cant be started because QtGui.dll is missing form your computer. Try reinstslling the program to fix the problem

mar6125... you have to copy over that exe file over to the game directory and copy & replace. QtGuii is in there

Episode 5 on almost every download I've tried has this 1 specific glitch where you go into the Glass House in the Science Expo and you end up stuck in the very 1st section with no where and no way to click on anything and no way out. Episode 5 - After you get inside create a new save just in case. Then find Emmet FIRST. Do NOT try and find evidence against Edna! Do NOT do anything with the phone booth until you have gone through the Glasshouse! Hope this helps! Have Fun! ... and Thanks .BONE.!!!

Any solutions on how to make it work in Windows 8.1? Tried suggestions over foruns like placing dinput8.dll from Windows 7 in game folder, removing X360 usb controller (I don't have one), changing compatibility mode to 7 / XP / 98, it either does nothing or executable crashes before it even starts. Bummer, I really wanted to give this game a try, I'm a big BTTF fan.
