Guys, somehow after leonardo gives me the hidden blade, at the point where you have to select it, it's as if the screen freezes and such Oo am I doing something wrong as in gameplay..or did I do something wrong with the emulator, and also this game saved my sequence. I am using thenoobish's MULTI 9 Clone DVD and by Ubisoft Game Launcher is not fully Updated. It updates itself once, then twice and it continues. After about 5 times i closed the updater? Does this kind of looping occur when you are updating????????

Before you begin installation Offline Server 2.1, make sure that:
- You have installed a clean version, with no cracks,
- You have updated the game to version 1.01,
- You have updated launcher to the latest version
- You have administrator rights on this computer
- You have created Ubisoft Account.
If you have it all, you can install crack to the folder with the game.
You have to create an account????

I'm starting to have problems in Venice, I've just performed a mission that unlocked some new areas, and now it's really bugged, a viewpoint doesn't update even though I synchronise it, another one doesn't even show on the map, and doesn't update when I synchronize it, and when I enter the mission-marker for the next mission, it just dissapears and nothing happens. Help. :(

No, I don't think you need to be online, it says so for me aswell, just start the game after you've started the server emulator and it should work fine, provided that you've installed everything correctly.

9)try this go to command prompt and type "netstat -ano". You must see if there is a programm using port 80. Look for the number 0.0.0.0:80 or 127.0.0.1:80. If you find them look at the far right of the screen and write down the corresponding PID number.
I found no world wide publishing site and no port 80

I did all the steps described here but I always get the 'internet connection required' error. And yes, I have modified the hosts file. Did a tracert on those domain names and they point to localhost.
Also there is some activity in the server console, so the game is connecting to the emulated server. Looking at the console I see 3 worrying messages:
1. 'Warning - unexpected client settings'
2. several Python exceptions : Errno 10054 - an existing connection was forcibly closed by a remote server
3. several code 404 - message file not found
Don't know which if any of these warnings/error are normal.
I'm using the latest emulator version, not the one on this torrent

Hey guys, when I run the server, it doesn't say the same thing that it does on the video. it gives me three ports, and says the listener for those ports is active. Then when I try to run the game, it tells me I need an active internet connection, and the server spits a bunch of error stuff at me that I don't understand.

For those of you having problems even getting the game to launch with the offline server software...
1.) When you copy/paste the lines to your hosts file, DELETE EXTRA SPACES between the "127.0.0.1" and the URL address.. there should only be ONE space between the IP and the URL in each line. (AiTB, you might want to correct this in your description of the torrent.)
2.) A lot of folks are having issues with the offline server crack.. as did I. I fixed my issue by instead using:

instead of using the "raw" offline server, use the "AC2 Simple Laucher coded by Approved". This will auto load the offline server, as well as give you a gui to launch the game.
Works like a charm. Hope that helps!

People, just go download Skidrow's crack. No need to bother with all this confusing server emulator crap. Just copy paste Skidrow's dll into the Ubisoft Game Launcher folder and you're good to go.

This torrent works great, but at one condition though.
For those who have the "Internet connection required" error, there's a solution. Just download this torrent :
Then, follow the instructions starting from "If you want to use offline server 0.44 (more stable)", so the first part of the description. Even though you already modified the hosts file by adding the 5 lines, make sure you put only ONE space between the numbers and (127.xxxx) and the localhosts (static3.cdn....).
I've been able to play with this other crack, no problems so far...

I downloaded it fine, and it installed perfectly, and i've been playing for a few days, many thanks and all that but ermmm.
Having a bit of trouble saving? asin.. it doesn't save at all :L not quite sure what to do, the save directory is in the ubisoft launcher folder, when i tried to find it, it wasn't there, could that be it? i wasn't sure what to do so i created a new folder there called storage like it should be called but it's not doing anything, i'd be so greatful if anybody can help?

I ran through the first time and I got a call from my internet service provider b/c they ubisoft got a hold of them by tracking my ip address. Nothing happened but I got a "warning".
