Thank christ for this. I had 500+ songs on my iPod, then my computer got reformatted. iTunes kept trying to delete everything on the iPod so it could successfully sync. I was like fuck that, these are all the songs that I have left.

I used this for over 2 months, then suddenly this week it tells me the trial has expired. I installed as a retail version, and now I cannot get it to work. I would avoid this until it is fixed.

Worked great, but then one day (like 45 days later), it stopped working. Not sure if it phoned home or anything, but left some sort of registry entry that would prevent me from re-installing. I deleted all "dopisp" and MGTEK entries in my registry, and still I could not re-install.
Using ver 2.x.xxxx for now.

Yes, it's a pain to switch to another program to sync your iPod, and there are a few limitations to the free version... BUT it will sync your MP3's without screwing up the MP3 tag data.

just make sure you do NOT update the program. After updating it did not work here. Without updating it works fine and detects my ipod and the music on it ^^
