Put four fabulous, glamorous, female friends in one city, add a liberal amount of sex and stir in some great outfits as well as a healthy dollop of intrigue.
What do you get?
Yep, it sounds like a recipe for a home-spun Sex And The City, but this Brit filling for the gaping hole left when Carrie et al waltzed off screen in their Manolos adds a zesty twist. Murder.
Well, possibly murder. A mysterious disappearance at least.
Grace, Midge, Lucy and Nicole are four PA pals at work in the City of London. They?re ambitious, good looking and good at their jobs.
Still, when Grace?s boss makes a surprise proposal of marriage it knocks all their socks off. And when Grace turns him down, then vanishes, the remaining trio know that only they can solve the AWOL riddle.
And it?s not as if they don?t have enough problems of their own.
Midge (Annabel Scholey ? Being Human) is a celeb obsessed Heat girl, whose dreams of going on a reality show are quashed by her boss. Lucy (Laura Aikmen - The Mysti Show) has been left in the lurch by her superior, again. And Nicole (Maimie McCoy ? Minotaur) still needs to learn to keep the bedroom and the boardroom separate.
This is nowhere near as mature as its cross-pond counterpart, but for light frothy viewing with a slightly darker underside, it?s not half bad.
