It does not run on PAL.

This is a PAL Version. SLES 54221 NTSC versions have SLUS or SCUS numbers. You can look at the ISO image using WinRAR and look for a file with SCUS xxxxx & SLUS xxxxx = (NTSC) or SCES xxxxx & SLES xxxxx = (PAL) You still need to make sure its in the language you want. I think Japan uses NTSC also. There are PAL2NTSC Patchers with Y - Fix that you still find for free download (I Just started "Making Backups" of PS2 Games) Good Luck
