"Thinking of You" is the fourth single of Katy Perry from her 2008 album One of the Boys. It is one of three tracks from the album written solely by Perry. The song marks the first ballad single released by Perry, contrary to her previous hit singles. "Thinking of You" debuted in the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart at 5, a couple of weeks later it finally charted in the Hot 100 at 79, and within three weeks it rose to its current peak position of 29 and stayed in this position for 3 consecutive weeks. The first music video was released in 2007 and surfaced onto YouTube in May 2008 but has since been removed from the site. Perry revealed on her blog that she had already started filming a second and official music video in the first week of December 2008, directed by Melina.
