Daniel Lanois - Acadie [Goldtop Edition} This is a 2008 release of Daniel Lanois' "Acadie." It contains all tracks from the original 1989 release plus several demo tracks. Lanois has produced albums for a broad spectrum of artists including Bob Dylan, U2, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel and Martha and the Muffins. He also produced Emmylou Harris' stellar "Wrecking Ball." Contributors to "Acadie" include Malcolm Burn, Brian Eno, Adam Clayton and Aaron Neville. It was named the 20th greatest Canadian album of all time in Bob Mersereau's 2007 book, 'The Top 100 Canadian Albums,' (from Wikipedia.) The disc was ripped to flac using EAC. I just noticed there are two track 08s in this torrent.
I don't want to delete it now while I'm seeding. But after you've finished downloading, you can delete the track 08 that is 19,998 kbs--KEEP the track 08 that is 19,999 kbs. Sorry.

hey thanx. I've had this on my wishlist for buying for 15y or so. When I found out I wanted it (yeah I know, but he has a voice you need to get used to) I couldn't find it anymore anywhere.

Thanks. I love Lanois. I just really like the ethereal quality of his music. I'm in the process of acquiring more. I also have the soundtrack to Sling Blade that Lanois produced and performs on--that really bizarre but intense movie with Billy Bob Thornton. Yeah, I've found some real gems.

Hi, thanks for seeding this, but I can't play it! I'm in Ottawa Canada and use WinAmp and it goes nuts and freezes my computer when I try to run the file. presume b/c it's "m3c" and "flac" instead of mp3 - how do I convert??? Thanks!

Sorry for my late response Malcah. You can convert the files using Xilosoft Audio Converter.
You can find this program on TPB. Just do a search. It's fairly easy to use and will convert files to MP3 easily. Maybe someone else can point you to other programs. Again, sorry for my late response.
And to sergio404, I don't have Lanois' Belladonna but if I come across it and have the $, I will torrent it.
